Condoleezza Rice for President poll

Would you vote for Condi Rice for President 2008?

I voted no.

Reason being, Condaleeza is just too far right for me. Also of interest, perhaps ... I would also vote against Hillary Clinton, if she should run for President in '08. Reason... She's too far to the LEFT for my liking.

Personally, I think we need a moderate in the White House, and sadly, I don't know of any women who would fit that right now. Personally, I'd like it if Ruliani ran for president or Arlen Spector. That's who I'd vote for.

Feel free toss out names of any moderate women you know of. :)

One of my favorites: Golda Meir, Prime minister of Israel, 1969-1974. She was one tough granny!
 
as for my point of view.. i have asked some friends (even ladies) they disagree on having a woman president... some say because other countries will see (a woman president) and attack us on unexpect reason...

I have seen many woman are tring to run for a president they all fail.. i have seen black man try running they fail.. But if Collen Powell ever try to run for president he have a high chance to win and he'll be a first black man.. based on his popularity.

I believe the more people who knows this person so well will get higher chance to win.. I believe that someday hillary clinton will win because she gained popularity but however she's a wife of former president.. Its kinda skiptal(sp?) to have a same family in 1 power.. if you know what i'm talking about.. I believe there shouldn't be any same family to gain power.. since Bill Clinton can tell her what to do, etc.. Its just silly to me..
again.. i belief that its just popularity by known very well in america had a higher chance to win. (i kinda believe its wrong but i see thats how americans react)

I think us americans should focus on the running-president's view and their plans.. not go for the popularity.. It scares me a bit if Arnold S. win a president just cuz people know him so well from movies he made. since he's not a american-born.

Powell, I don't see him running due to his recent resignation.
 
If Ms. Rice decides to run for President in 2008, I definitely will vote for her!

It will be very interesting to see who would be Ms. Rice's running mate!

I have always hoped to see someone the likes of Newt Gingrich and Michael Reagan running for President.

No, but everyone knows how much the Bush family adores Hitler.
The Bush family bankrolled Hitler and made their fortune that way.

Just FYI, if Condi is confirmed as Secretary of State, she will be next in the line of succession for President, after VP Dick Cheney.
