Has anyone seen this guy? I just saw his act tonight on comedy central for the first time, and I was blown away by his comedic timing and sharp wit. He just has an astounding way of building up to a terrific punchline.

Normally, I am uninspired by some comedians and their insipid bits. I was just impressed by Mencia.
 
carlos mencia is a hack.

if i could bet that each of his jokes would end with a mention of either "beaners" or "wetbacks", i would be a very rich man indeed.

I almost had coffee come out of my nose because I started laughing after reading this. I got to agree with August on this one.
 
maybe there was a time when spouting faux-racial remarks about your own ethnicity was cool or whatever, but that time is long past.

and he does it like 15 times on every single show.

Yes...it gets very old. If you ever want to torture me, make me sit through and watch one of his shows. Nothing will torture me more.
