Cancel AOL took almost forever?!

I kidded my friends who were AOL users...I mocked them "Always On Loser", "Always Open Legs", :blah: :blah: . They had no figure to get back on my Yahoo! Unless anyone here knows to mock on "Yahoo".

No, I am nothing against AOL...I don't have to paid AOL becuase of waste my money that I has cable internet to serve me like free Yahoo, AIM, Hotmail, and any websites. I do know limited mail of Yahoo and Hotmail...just move anything into my cable email with unlimit storage if need to. Others can do whatever they like to have AOL, Yahoo, or Earhtlink as long as they likes them or comfotable to use them. :)
 
Thank god I don't use AOL, my father did before. It was a pain in the ass for him to get rid of it. They try so hard to keep you committed to AOL! I'm just glad I never got it.

I have used it when on my dad's computer but it really suckes big time!!
 
I never like AOL! They suck BIG time. They have turned me off long time ago by bombarding their AOL stuff on my PC EVEN when I click that I do NOT want any of them! I think AOL did far damaging on their advertising campaign. They lack their respect toward others when it comes to advertising, this tells me that they don't care about us, they want M$O$N$E$Y from us. That is how I decide not to deal with them.

Yeah, I have experienced with that AOL customer service. That's why I took a free month for 29 days then cancelled it. I simple told them that I have found a very cheap Internet service. They offered me three free months and low service cost. Oh boy, I just want to cancel right now. We had have been disputed for 10 minutes.....

I tried to cancel AOL too before going on cable connection, They kept on throwing free months service if I intend to keep AOL, When I told them repeatedly that I don't want AOL anymore, Then they asked "What's the problem that you may have with AOL?" When I told them I didn't like the stinky dial-up, then they go on with "We provide boardband service also, Would you like to hear about that service?" I'm like oh shit, AOL gotta be kidding me!

No, They just was telling me about broadband, I told them no I'm going for WOW. They gulped. :)
 
On the radio, I heard the actual recording of that man trying to cancel his AOL. Very weird.
 
I call AOL 'Asshole OnLine' cuz I never like AOL when my parents hook up in 1999 or something... Now we using Comcast Cable High Speed Internet, much better!

Of course, I agree with you.

I will never to use dial-up internet anymore but haven't use since 2001.
 
aol sucks big time

I notice that aol do eat lot of mb on ur hard drive and make ur computer more slower. Use the cable internet is much better than using aol I call aol mean asshole on line. I had aol and it come with adviesting saying wanna use aol phone No . virus proection No I already have and spyware from aol. What an idiot . I am glad to use cable network it has more protection than the aol does.
 
Thank god I cancelled AOL years ago before it got worse. ;)

Yeah it is a resource hog. I hate it. I don't use AOL anymore.
 
FYI: Time Warner is considering making AOL free to everybody who has broadband connection (cable modem or DSL modem) and for those Dial-up users, they still have to pay.

It is not final, they are just pondering about it. due to declining subscriber base.

So BYOA would be free...ah.

I still wouldn't use AOL because it is such a resource hog and their customer service sucks ass.
 
yeah, aol is notorious when it comes to cancelling your aol service.

my free trial of aol expired and i found it rather pointless to have aol when we already had cable internet, so i called to cancel my account and it took FOREVER. the customer rep. was quite nice, but persistent. she kept trying to give me services for a lower rate.
