Great news for pony-car lovers: The Dodge Challenger and the Chevy Camaro is going to come back to the dealers in 2008 or 2009!

The Camaro:

The Challenger:

Both cars look so AMAZING they both make the Mustang look so Old Maid. Now pony car buyers got 3 choices to buy in 3 years. If I had a choice, the Camaro would be in my driveway (and please make it Hugger Orange with white skunk stripes :) )

i was '69 mustang owner when i was in high school. it literally gulped gas quickly ! :squint: and my bro just sold his '70 mustang the boss last summer. sadly his beauty had to go.

climber.. I know gas eater LOL my brother had 71 mustang, ( his first car when he was 16). I don't know why he sold it, he and i always talk about mustang all the time when we grew up. Also, he regret that he sold his mustang..

sherry, me too... been talking with some friends over the mustangs...

if i get '64 mustang, i do hope chip foose steals mine for overhauling it. ;)

Those 440 6 pack Challengers from 1970 will get their asses kicked by the 2K9 SRT-8 Challlenger with the 6.1 HEMI for sure. Even I hear Dodge is going to cram in a more larger 392 cube HEMI in the new Challenger for sure too.

But hell the 2K9 Challenger is gonna be much cheaper than paying Barrett-Jackson auctions thru the nose for a mint HEMI or Six-Pack 1970 Challenger -try 200,000 to 400,000

yep camaro 2k9-10 model may look lamo but that s just a retro concpet. it just shows at event as it according public's opinion. mostly ppl dont like the front grill, cuz it has too angle front bumper. well to me i think they had done too much lines on camaro. I like new dodge hemi challenger. too bad it didnt show at Houston Auto Show here last week that i went, but camaro were there!

Anyone see the March 2006 car magazine issue of Motor Trend?
