I got this from Roadrunner thru email...and thought I would pass this along to the Aders here....

Have you ever been wrongfully accused, judged, misunderstood, or even harmed?
How did you react? Did you try to defend your actions or justify your motives? Chances are, it didn't do much good did it? People will think whatever they want to think regardless of whatever evidence you present in your defense.
That is why Jesus remained quiet at His trial before the court of public opinion and the religious community. He never tried to explain or justify Himself before His accusers. He committed Himself to the Father in heaven and prayed for His enemies.
I know this is hard for us to do. Our old fleshly nature wants to take control and fight back when we are wronged. But the way of the true disciple of Christ is to keep silent and under the control of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said,
"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven.." - Matt. 5:10-12.
"Jesus knew that if you were a true follower of His, you would enter into this test eventually. It is part of the program...to be wronged, misunderstood, and maligned. When God brings a measured assault against one of His children, it is to find out if he truly believes in the cross. The cross is where each of us is given the opportunity to die to our pride, our reputations, and our ego. He wants to see if we will rescue ourselves. Jesus said if we die with Him, we will be raised with Him...ask God for the grace to cling to the cross. Let the pride and arrogance that Jesus wants to remove from our lives be crucified." - Os Hillman
Is your reputation being assaulted today?
Have you been wrongfully criticized or judged by others - even by those within the church? The best thing you can do is keep silent. Crucify the old flesh. Commit your hurts, wounded pride, and feelings of betrayal to the Lord. Nothing escapes His watchful eye. He knows what's really in your heart and will bring all things into judgment. Every idle and malicious word that is spoken against you will be accounted for.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for you are truly a son or daughter of the Most High.
"Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." - Rom. 12:14,17,19
Remember to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, the salvation of the Jewish people, and a great harvest of souls from all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues.

I like that also, but it's hard for me because I am usual a person that stand up for myself, when others misunderstood or, justify my motives, judging, criticized and others. But if there are some-body out there that I dislike, I wouldn't waste my breathe on that person to stand up for myself.
