Baby bones found in home's ceiling

Police: Couple admit burning body in grill; woman says boyfriend killed boy

DETROIT - Police investigating a possible case of child abuse have found the skeletal remains of another baby concealed in the ceiling of a Detroit home.

The parents of a 1-year-old boy were arrested Friday after his mother took him to the hospital with burns. She told authorities the boy was scalded the day before Thanksgiving by her boyfriend, the child's father.

Authorities say the boy was severely abused, with burns over one-third of his body. He's hospitalized in fair condition.

Police say the woman later told them that her boyfriend had killed another son in March of last year. The boyfriend says the child died of natural causes.

Authorities say the couple admit burning the baby's body in a barbecue grill — to save on funeral costs — and hiding the remains in the ceiling of a home once occupied by the boyfriend's sister.

Authorities say further investigation will determine whether to charge the couple in the baby's death.

Reminds me of Baby Gracie in Texas.

Makes my blood boil when I read about parents harming their children and throwing their remains away casually :(

I think Im going to be sick.... UGH

Why would the mother stay with a man that killed her child then just said - oh let's grill him to save money.

There's 1,000 things Id could think of to do to both them and make them die slow, painful, torturous deaths.
 
According to the history from the past; Burning the body was considered as an honorable funeral.

But this story, obiviously, is a completely different.

This thread is really sickening. This is a really brutal way to go. These parents are just ........ apalling.
 
Geez...how can people do things like that? I look at my son and I just cannot imagine doing stuff like that to him. I would rather shoot myself first.

This just makes my stomach turn painfully.
