Two well-known factors:

2) Cheap or unnatural chemical soaps tend to cause the dryness problem. It is well-known cause. Buy natural soap like Dr. Bronner's soap. You can check at http://www.drbronner.com/soaps.html - I used that soap for many years (thanks to my mom for that knowledge)... I never have the dryness problem whenever I am done with washing the dishes or whatever.
I moved from Cal to east coast and lived there for only one year... I don't have any dryness problem because of 'good' fats I consume daily and high-quality soap like Dr. Bronner's. I just want to share my experience and my medical point of view.
Cheers!

Yeah, there are plenty numbers of health stores in California. That's why I like to live in California because of its awareness of organic and natural foods importance. I never shop anything at Trader Joes but I will buy if I need anything or too lazy to drive to Wild Oats or Whole Foods Market. My fav store to shop: Whole Foods Market because of their supplies (pasture-feed meats and eggs)rofl. Yeah I understand what you meanzesty said:i have tried those natural deodorants.. but i didnt like them.. i know i am trying to get used to them.. grrrr.. have you tried them?? they feel so rough and not comfortable... i know they are much better than those in the regular drug stores cuz they prevent from cancer, etc.. grrrr.. try to persuade or convince me or something!! LOL
Yeah.. natural deodorants are horrible.. You and I are in same boat but it took years for us (mom and me) to find a right deodorant. You can try Aubrey Organics' E Plus High C (Natural Roll-On Deodorant). You can take a look at: http://www.aubrey-organics.com/product1.cfm?product_id=082 -- it is pretty good. It does not give me any problem. I am too senititve to these deodorant.. I often get the 'red spot' on my armpits if I use these both natural and unnatural deodorant but not with Aubrey's E Plus High C so I am grateful to have that. Try it?I am bit uneasy about homeopathy, it may work.. it may not work. It is largely depend on individual.. if it does work on you then great and stick with it. It does not work for me so I didn't bother to use it.zesty said:(off the point) i am also learning about homeopathy (sp?).. my mom is into those.. wow.. it is amazing too..
