Ok, reading lesson 101... here is the quote you are referring to:

"...the Obama administration - not the Bush administration - now has ownership of the struggling U.S. economy. "

Read this carefully. You will see that it is stating that the Obama administration is taking ownership (not Responsibility) for the U.S. economy. This is not college level reading here.

I personally would be upset if he did not take ownership. It's his job!!! Good lord! He is not saying he caused it, he is saying it's his job to fix it or at least steer the country out of it.

Nice job in exposing that nasty little semantic trick that Stein was trying to use. Obviously he never read the real article, just repeated what the conservative pundits were blathering.

Republicans sure as hell ain't gonna take ownership of it. :P

I'm confused about something I heard on the TV interview with Sharon Bialek this morning, and read in the online news.

She said that years, after the alleged groping incident, she met Cain (whom she always refers to as Herman) at the WIND’s Teacon in October of 2011 in Chicago.

"The Cain Encounter ...

They hugged each other backstage in a full embrace like old friends.

She grabbed his arm and whispered in his left ear.

She kept talking as he bent to listen, and he kept saying “Uh, huh. Uh, huh.”

Huh?

“I don’t know if what she was giving him was a sucker punch, but he didn’t put his arm down while she was talking to him,” said the Sneed source.

◆The “he”... is GOP presidential contender Herman Cain, who has been accused of sexual harassment by several women.

◆The “she”... is Chicagoan Sharon Bialek, who held a news conference Tuesday as the only woman to PUBLICLY accuse Cain of sexual harassment.

◆The Sneed source ... is WIND radio co-host Amy Jacobson, who tells Sneed she witnessed the Cain/Bialek encounter a month ago while backstage at the AM 560 WIND sponsored TeaCon meeting in Schaumburg Sept. 30-Oct. 1 at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center.

◆Quoth Jacobson: “I had turned on TV to find out who was Cain’s accuser, and I almost fell over when I saw it was Sharon Bialek accusing Cain of groping her genitals.”

“I was waiting for Herman Cain’s ‘Accuser No. 4’ to surface — and up pops Sharon!”

“I couldn’t believe it. I was shocked.”

“I recall Sharon was hell bent on going backstage at the TeaCon convention — where she cornered him,” said Jacobson.

“I was surprised to hear she claims she did not know Cain was going to be there. Cain was expected and was late.”

Bialek told the media on Monday: “I went up to him and asked him if he remembered me. I wanted to see if he would be man enough to own up to what he had done 14 years ago.”

◆The encounter: “It looked sort of flirtatious,” said Jacobson. “I mean they were hugging. But she could have been giving him the kiss of death for all I know. I had no idea what they were talking about, but she was inches from his ear.”

◆The introduction: “It all began when I took a convention break and joined my pals at the hotel bar. Sharon was drinking Mimosas with them. She said she was a Republican, a Tea Party member, had once dated [White Sox sports announcer’ Steve Stone] and had worked at WGN radio.”

◆The rendezvous: Sharon also said she was anxious to meet Cain again and had once gone to an afterparty with him and her boyfriend years ago. But she never mentioned he had sexually harassed her.”

◆The upshot: Bialek has since applied for employment in sales at WIND radio and is scheduled for a second interview Thursday."

Wow. I don't care any way you slice this thing. There is something up with Herman Cain and his relationships with women.

Actually, the allegations have boosted his ratings. Only because it is becoming more and more obvious that it is a smear campaign.

Why wait until he is ahead in the polls for these allegations to surface? Timing is everything. If this woman who came forward was so offended, why did she fail to file formal charges? How convenient that there is absolutely nothing to corroborate her story.

You have virtually no understanding of the dynamics of power in these situations. You are making judgements based on a complete lack of knowlege and an inability to see things from any perspective that goes beyond your own nose.

Looks like there is an obvious case of hypocrisy going on here...make accusations against a Dem candidate and they HAVE to be true. Make them against a Repub candidate and they HAVE to be a smear campaign. Must be nice to live in such a narrow and restricted state of being. Almost like still being in the womb.

Actually, no, I was not whining that no one came forward, I was asking that his accusers stop hiding. If you are going to accuse a candidate, come out in the open. Otherwise, the allegations will have absolutely no merit and the entire incident will fester.

Cain has a right to know who his accusers are.

He knows who is accusers are. He knew who they were when the formal charges were filed.:laugh2: He just conveniently "forgot". Then, he slowly started regaining some "vague" memories. Seriously, this guy must have some serious cognitive issues. Definately not a good thing in a Presidential candidate.:cool2:

Janine Driver did an interview earlier today after analyzing the Sharon Bialek video.

Apparently, Sharon was giggling during the press conference. Even Allred made a joke about Cain offering his version of a "stimulus package".

The bottom line was, neither Sharon or Allred were being serious. According to Janine, Sharon's body language gave away "tells" that told an entirely different story. In other words, Sharon was lying.

The Scoop on Janine! - Janine Driver

But .... do you really need an expert to tell you all this?

First of all, the claim that Cain was able to use one hand to reach up Sharon's skirt, while using his other hand to grab her behind her neck (while sitting in a parked car) must mean that Herman Cain's elbows are able to bend backwards ..... :laugh2:

Pulling her head down to his crotch means one arm was blocking the other .... Sharon needed to think that one through a little bit more - just saying.

So, you spend a lot of time pulling women's heads down to your crotch so you know the exact position he had to have been in?

Yeah, I was reading through that earlier - Sharon's ex-husband filed a paternity suit against her claiming their child was not his.

So .... where is this "secret" daddy?

Blame the victim. She deserved to be harrassed. Look at her background.

No matter what her past may hold, it does not give anyone the right to sexually harrass her. Get that straight.

You are using the same type of sexist deflection that has allowed mistreatment of women for centuries. You are disgusting.

Have you even thought to ask about the timing of the allegations? Why no police reports were filed? Why there is absolutely no proof?

You really haven't seen many smear campaigns have you? It's called gutter politics, usually deployed by a group who realize they have no chance of competing against a candidates ideas, so they resort to name calling and demonizing their opponent.

Usually, its just called politics as usual. Oh well ....

Yeah, I've seen big time smear campaigns. You participated in the birther propoganda and the attempts to link Obama to unsavory characters. You should know smear campaigns from the inside out, the way you use them against anyone that doesn't carry an (R) behind their name.

I actually used proof .... :dunno:

Even Biden agreed that our current economic crisis is Obama's fault. :hmm:

Proof? Is that what you called it?:laugh2:

If that is proof, then there is proof positive that Cain has engaged in sexually innappropriate behavior with 4 women, and most likely more.:laugh2:

You guys do realize why Steiny, and others like him, is so strongly defending and supporting Cain, don't you? It is SO obvious.

Whom are you addressing?

If it's so obvious, then I guess there's no need to mention it. :)

I guess common sense is quite rare in your neck of the woods.

Nice job in exposing that nasty little semantic trick that Stein was trying to use. Obviously he never read the real article, just repeated what the conservative pundits were blathering.

Apparently you did not read the full article as well. Here is another one that is written by Yahoo News

Is the lousy economy Obama's fault? Ask Joe Biden... - Yahoo! News

And if you throw a spin on Biden remarking that Obama made the economy better - just remember that the administration you are propping up caused the very first credit downgrade in our national history.

Actually, you should refer to an earlier post I made concerning this whole incident. But, I won't point it out just yet.

However, I will point out that your statements clearly show what a hypocrite you are. A complete lack of knowledge and you have already convicted Cain on allegations and no proof.

I guess you can't see past your own nose.
