I saw his point. He fails to see mine. I am interested in these suspects history. They didn't become militia overnight.

Yes. They steal them or buy them from black market dealers.Just FYI:
People who are truly strong Second Amendment supporters in the most essential way rarely get concealed carry permits. They believe that the government has no right to regulate gun possession in any way, shape, or form. Therefor, they believe the process required to obtain a concealed carry permit is illegal, and they won't apply for one.
Those people usually own and carry weapons without going thru the usual legal channels.
Also, people who are serious about illegally obtaining weapons don't want a paper trail or background check. They avoid gun registration and licensing.

My question was in reference to the history of the evolution of their current beliefs.

I am aware of that. However, those are belief systems that evolve. One is not born with them. My question was in reference to the history of the evolution of their current beliefs.
Has it been kept secret? Did someone from the press ask about CCW and not get a reply?Maybe, maybe not. Don't see any reason why it should be kept a secret, though.

ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh...........
repeat it after me - "oh ok."....

It's possible that it's still early in the investigation, and authorities don't want to reveal to much about their case.
If they did have permits, I can't imagine why that would be a "secret" other than investigative reasons.![]()

Just noticed you have crossed the 50k post threshold. Not sure if I should congratulate you, or smack you and tell you to get out more.![]()

No, it's not a secret; it's just irrelevant. That was a reference to those who objected to the question even being asked. As if it was something that was top secret.
I blame Jillio for engaging me in perpetual motion![]()
