And we worry about international terrorists

ok my bad then. let's get back to Georgia terrorists then. Does not mean this: so where did I insult you as you claimed that I did?

Just a FYI. Now back to the debate! :P

I saw his point. He fails to see mine. I am interested in these suspects history. They didn't become militia overnight.

Perhaps they feel the Federal Government screwed them royalty. :dunno:

That is something that they can answer.

They obviously planned it, and collected the materials. Perhaps some legally and some illegally. I am sure they worked on it for some time..

Perhaps they are simply a bunch of Grumpy old men. :P

Yes. You are right. I have failed to see any validity or merit to even discuss about CCW in this topic. A terrorist does not need a CCW license to amass weapons. Applying for CCW license would means further detailing such as fingerprinting and background check. A terrorist certainly does not need a CCW license to carry a concealed weapon to kill people.

And a question would be asked when applying for CCW license - "Are you presently, or have you ever been a member of any organization which advocates or approves the commission of acts of force and violence, either to overthrow the Government of the United States or of this State, or which seeks to deny others their rights under the Constitution of either the United States or the State of *****? If yes, list name and address of organization(s)."

Do you seriously believe a paranoid lunatic with distorted anti-government view would follow our laws created by government? People like them do not believe in it and they certainly don't believe in CCW license procedure because they view it as invasive and un-American.

Let's be honest in here. If our roles were reversed and I brought it up... you would say I have Randorightnet encephilitis and my mental functioning is declining.

Just FYI:

People who are truly strong Second Amendment supporters in the most essential way rarely get concealed carry permits. They believe that the government has no right to regulate gun possession in any way, shape, or form. Therefor, they believe the process required to obtain a concealed carry permit is illegal, and they won't apply for one.

Those people usually own and carry weapons without going thru the usual legal channels.

Also, people who are serious about illegally obtaining weapons don't want a paper trail or background check. They avoid gun registration and licensing.

Yes. They steal them or buy them from black market dealers.

I am aware of that. However, those are belief systems that evolve. One is not born with them. My question was in reference to the history of the evolution of their current beliefs.

ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh...........

repeat it after me - "oh ok."....

Maybe, maybe not. Don't see any reason why it should be kept a secret, though.
Has it been kept secret? Did someone from the press ask about CCW and not get a reply?

It's possible that it's still early in the investigation, and authorities don't want to reveal to much about their case.

If they did have permits, I can't imagine why that would be a "secret" other than investigative reasons. :dunno:

Just noticed you have crossed the 50k post threshold. Not sure if I should congratulate you, or smack you and tell you to get out more. :cool2:

That was a reference to those who objected to the question even being asked. As if it was something that was top secret.

I think the same could be said for our only other 50k plus poster. :giggle: :D

I blame Jillio for engaging me in perpetual motion

No, it's not a secret; it's just irrelevant.

secret?

nobody in here is keeping it a hush hush. nobody in here is hiding anything. we don't know if they have CCW license or not but with our working mental functioning, common sense and in-depth knowledge of gun laws and procedure, we know with a high degree of certainly that they are certainly not CCW holders.

If you found a proof, please do report back to us.

Yes, like the sun rises, it also sets. :hmm:

oh and I blame seasonal change too. Now it's almost time for me to hibernate back to my bear cave. that will mean less riding, more :type:
