I couldn’t wait to propose after she moves here so I decided to do it over the weekend!! :cheers: Here’s the story….

By the way, thanks roadrunner for limo suggestion ;) (some of you who did not read my previous thread, go to http://alldeaf.com/showthread.php?t=8773 )

I left work a little early so that I could surprise her with this awesome limo I booked for few hours. My lady thinks I was still at work and was getting ready for the night I planned for her and told her to dress up for the night… as I pulled up to her at my house, she was surprised to see the limo, it so cute expression on her face!! :giggle: it was like a puzzled on her face lol but she was sooo happy to see me as soon as I stepped out of limo in my nice tuxedo! She walked up to me smiling…. And I hand her a lovely single red rose….

Then I took her to this nice Italian Restaurant, had nice dinner there with some wine. Then I took her out to the park with a little pond where we walk along the pond, I had a little dessert picnic set up on the grass in a distance… she was speechless as she saw this blanket with picnic basket sitting on it. :giggle: we had some chocolate cheesecake, then I decide it’s time… so I packed up picnic and walk a little bit, then I stopped and kneed my knee and reach for her hand and say “You believe in me, you did not give up on me, you stuck by my side all the way through the storm that was weathered us, I couldn’t be more than grateful for your love, your faith, your trust, your loyalty in me. I love you very much, I don’t want to spend any more minute apart from you again, honey, (then I took this gorgeous engagement ring out of my pocket) I know you’re the one I want to be with forever, will you marry me ?”

Guess what…….. she was standing there in awe… it took her few minutes to take some deep breaths before answering… but… she said “YESSSSSSSSSS I WILL MARRY YOU!!!!” Whew… all the money I spent was well worth it, this will be one of amazing memories that we keep with us in our heart for rest of our lives!!!!!

I'm also flattered that you used one of my suggestions and am glad that it went very well...did you both go for a nice long ride or straightaways to the Italian restaurant? I bet she was pleasantly surprised to not only see you but to see you all decked out in a nice tux! Then eating out in a nice Italian restaurant...with wine....

You sure came up with a wonderful idea of having dessert that was hidden away in a picnic basket on a blanket out in a park...(and NO rain to hampered your thoughtfulness either! ;) ) and the thoughts and feelings you conveyed to her during your moment of proposing is beautiful!! There's no doubt in my mind that the lady of your life truly had the most beautiful and pleasant night! Also, am glad that your money was well worth every cent, sure makes cents (sense)!! I sure can imagine the 'look' on her face when you knelt down before her and then presented her with a beautiful ring....

I sure wish you both the very best and once again, thanks for sharing the moments of your evening with her and your proposal! Btw, has a wedding date been established yet?

We rode in limo for a while, the resturant I took her to was about an hour away out of town with a park that has pond nearby... ;) So nice advantage to ride in limo all cuddling up ;)

Uhmm No the wedding date hasn't been set yet.. we will talk more about that when she moves here...
