As you may have heard, each of us will be getting a tax rebate check to stimulate the economy.

If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China. If we spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs. If we purchase a computer it will go to India. If we purchase fruits and vegetables it will go to Honduras and Guatemala. If we purchase a good car it will go to Japan. If we purchase useless stuff it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it at Yard Sales, since those are the only businesses left owned by Americans !!

Just send on food because most of them are made in USA.

No, US got oil most from Canada and Mexico in combo than we got from Saudi Arabia.

Crude Oil and Total Petroleum Imports Top 15 Countries

Here is reality, if US made everything and sell to here, it's too way expensive than you imagine. And everybody will barely afford for fun. Maybe living poor as Poland.

Yes, it's your fault for interest on VP equipment and not on TTY which are true Made in USA. Don't you know, TTY sold most from Krown and Ultratec to many countries who are behind technology.

There are few bigger brand for example: 2 biggest soda (Pepsi and Cola-Coke) companies sold to worldwide, made in US.

Not necessarily. Check the labels.

I don't see any label on certain of foods, most food brand like Kraft, General Mills, Domino (sugar), largest portion of dairies, frozen and meat are made from USA.

Most beverages like Coca Cola and Pepsi are made from bottling companies in USA.

Won't work and never will happen. USA's labor is "overprice" than other country.

American buy $1 for cell phone's cover from China then sell to American's customer for $20. American made $19 profit.

That's what business work like that way.

Most Apple, Computers, mobile, items made in China.

That's TRUE! My state's Governor is bad! 600,000 people jobs were lost in my state. Every in plants out of business! Also GM is out of business. I lost my job. I am trying to look for a new job. But Goodwill industrial isn't help enough. I have a VR casework.

Well, the industrial age is about out and here come the information age so we have to expect that nowadays yet following with the change usually favors you (and us). I read about it sometime ago, interesting stuff yet it makes sense.

My old hometown mayor did the same thing forcing a dozen industries going out of business or moved them out. Some of those industries went for the cheaper labor like Mexico or China that contributed to some reasons also.

Few of my friends were laid off already while few more will be very soon. Sad!

recession is everywhere, lets ban all the new incoming immigrants from stealing our jobs and start rethinking how our govts does its international labour trade

My friend told earlier tonite that they announced that they will lay off 150 people next month. (a boat plant) He works there but he won't be laid-off likely because he works there for a long time and is a great employee. Too bad for others who will be. Assume more will be laid off in other parts of the USA as well.
