Well, well...

Met with the manager at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for a lunch meeting ... *urp*

Delicious food. TGIFriday's has a restaurant there...so we ate there...and boy am I stuffed on caviar and champange...

Ok, ok...I had nachos and a coke, happy now?

Looks like the plans are coming along smoothly now that we've gone over some bumps.

I will be preparing a report to Alex and let you know what's all the fuss all about...

Well, IF we do decide on Crowne Plaza...

Now, remember this is one of St. Louis' FINEST and NICEST hotels...and rooms are usually 120.00 per night Sunday nights through Thursday nights - they cost more Friday and Saturday nights.

However, we are getting a SPECIAL RATE of only 89.00 per night!

They have both King (for 2 people only) and 2 Queens (4 people) rooms...and let me tell ya, I've seen the King room - NICE!!!! NICE!!!!

Just letting you know in advance - so start saving those pennies right now!

And the hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL...JUST BEAUTIFUL.

Looking at it from Interstate 70 and Lindbergh (we live off Lindbergh, hah!!!), it looks like a Glass Prymaid!!!
 
Sounds good to me! :applause: I think 89.00 per night isn't too bad. Let us know how much we gotta be paying all together including food also. ;)

I'll expense on Greyhound bus line from my hometown to thru us border and to meeting someone in Mich or OHIO... (as their halfway to meet me) then straight to St Louis (friday) but don't know what time... er um...
I have to talk w/my hubby about this amount expense..

a per night, that means 89.00 on Thursday, Friday another 89.00, Saturday another 89.00 and then we checked out on Sunday. :popcorn:
 
Dont forget - if you come on Thursday it will be $267.00 plus tax for a double bed..then divide by 4 if you can find three others to share... it will come down to ...66.75 for all 3 nights!!!

2 nights - same calculations - $178.00 plus tax and divided by 4 ... $44.50!!!

What about queen/full beds? for couples is it the same price?
