Is anyone have Acer Aspire One mini laptop???

I just curious that all. I just got a new Acer Aspire One mini laptop. I don't need to be show off if I have macbook. I can have Acer for now. I will get macbook in future when I have a job. I got my own pink wireless mouse with usb for my new laptop. I will get a sticker cover on my laptop with fashion design coming soon.

If you have your own Acer Aspire One. Can you tell me what is your opinion??
 
I own HP Mini laptop. :cool2: I'll leave it to the others, but my HP mini is very good.
 
Congrat on your new laptop, nice cute mini laptop.

I don't own any mini laptop because they aren't my type, I own 15.4 inches ASUS laptop.
 
Nice Mini netbook. Easy to carry it for travel and business. I had seen it at some electronic stores. I almost buy it but I m bit tired of sight for reading tiny letters and webpages. I decided to buy new 14.1 inch HP notebook from EBay seller in few days ago. It is cheaper price at $589 than list price approx $800. Not so bad.
 
:lol: Let us know in few weeks how you like it. Just curious. It would be excellent for travelling or taking it to workplace during breaktime. Does it boot up to XP fast?

Let you know you're not the only person with Acer, I'm the one who own 15.4" Acer Aspire laptop :giggle: I wish I had smaller one!!

I used own 15.4" Acer Aspire and love it. So I sold it and got Macbook 13.5" in 1.5 year ago for business. Also I got discount for Macbook thru business so no complain. Why I did because I want to smaller and easy for travel a lot.

Someone still happy with my old Acer but little problem about heat from bottom and not good for put laptop on their legs for long. I think Acer is around 3 years old and it's Intel M that's battery life almost 5 hours.

I wish!! You're lucky :cool:

It's now 3 years old and it's getting beaten up, sticky and tacky on keyboard and mousepad and have dead, overcharged Li-Ion battery that needed to be replaced. Not much value for this laptop. Not worth it :shrug:

I would purchase new one for myself if I had some $$'s and give old one to my kid to murder it :giggle:

But I'm not in a hurry tho. There's always better one coming..

Im thinking of getting my girls an Acer mini laptop to along with my Gateway (Acer now owns Gateway 100% lock, stock and barrel)

At least for only $300, the girls can beat on it and not beat on my more expensive Gateway :giggle:

But be sure that your girls are not looking into something inappropriate online on their Mini laptop.

What Purplecatty said, making sure that the girls doesn't go to any inappropiate sites, you can block them, and didnt you know that you can assign the mini laptops on a set time to use the internet via its router?

Example

Girl 1's laptop - MAC Address added in the DCHP/wireless client list and you assign this girl to have the ability to use the internet at 7pm and the internet will shut down at 9pm

Girl 2's laptop - MAC address added in the DCHP/wireless client list and you assign this girl to have the ability to use the internet at 8:30pm and the internet shuts down at 10:30pm

Also it is good idea to have girls use Netbooks in public area in the house where parents or babysitters have eyes on them. This would intimidate them too. :giggle:
