If I could choose one person,
Only one, and nothing more,
To always have and always hold,
To cherish and adore,

If I could make one’s heart beat,
A little faster than before,
And fill them up with butterflies,
To earn an even score,

If I could love them equal,
-As they do I- and call a truce,
Always knowing, always careful,
Of their love not to abuse,

Lastly

If I could give one smile,
To any person that I’d choose,
Without a doubt you know- my love-
I’d do this all for you.

As for myself, I do write poems from time to time as well...nice to see a very good and constructive poem that's meaningful and expresses a genuine feeling as well. :)

Nice Poem you got there, You have a way with the words. So simple but yet, so impactful and meaningful. Keep that in your agenda and you will be able to flourish into something wonderful! ;)

I also love writing poems too. I think my poetry skills has somewhat declined but I've started getting back on that recently. It's kinda rusty but I'm getting there, I hope! :lol:
 
yep yep artist to artist your e good man so smooth so rhythmic and its like an echoing fluid you could keep on staring on it

I admire people who can write poems. I have tried but I just dont know how to make it look fluid and in sync.

I love it man! :h5: I admire poems so much and even the ones I get from my boyfriend, he's really romancing, he just melts my heart. I'm most certain your girlfriend has her heart melts too with every poem you've written to her, expressing your love is always a good way of showing how much you truly love someone. :)
