9-1-1 is not required to answer calls

Your DEAD wrong, Jiro is right. Its about location, location, location!

If you live in farm areas, don't expect much of responder service available. Image a small town like bakers WVA, which is nice small town, with low taxes and they got only 1 ambulance available, perhaps 2 fire trucks available for entire town, suppose the very same morning 3 guys at different locations got heart attack, and there was 5 different houses in different location within town got fire, what can that town 911 dispatcher do? Had it happened? You can bet your fat azz on it!
Off point! That response doesn't relate to my quote.

Sometimes small town have very limit pool of people with training and experience comparing to like DC/MD/VA, NYC, LA where they got training centers and training maintenance programs. It is not illegal to provide limited trained personnel in emergency situation, because there was not enough available, that is where loophole law is. Have one that can help something better than nothing.

NOT everywhere they got full equipment.

Again, your STILL dead wrong, Jiro STILL right on this one.
You are very wrong. When I call for an ambulance, I expect that the crews show up and do their jobs to save my life. Crews with no trainings or experiences? You are a fool, big time. Google "How to apply for ambulance job" or STFU.

Care Ambulance -Opportunities for Employment

CARE Ambulance employs Emergency Medical Technicians, Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and Dispatchers.

Crazypaul, your attitude sucks! Guess you had no clue whats going on outside your hometown. Guess your staying home too much, and afraid to travel around. Sad!

Is that all you can say? I said google it or STFU.

For example, you got badly injured somewhere in the mountain, please explain how it works when you call 911.

Shyt happens, and show me that they can respond to this emergency within 2 minutes, can you? I don't think so! There are cases where emergency responder can not reach. For instance sinkhole in Florida, a guy gone down the hole, did he survived or was rescued? 911 can not respond to every one at rate of 100%, but they can do only if they have power to achieve the mission.
Oh by the way, there was forest fire going on in Colorado and it started when? A while ago right?, why not done with it, its been going on for a while, eh?

Again, your attitude SUCKS!

And I forgot to mention, if you go up to real NORTH EAST of Maine, there is NOTHING out there. If you get injured up there the waiting time to get emergency response, it will be forever! Its called unchartered territory, meaning that there is zero government involvement except Federal. No cops, no firemen, no nothing up there.

Oh man, you are so way off point. Originally you replied to my quote about ambulance services that require crews to have the knowledge (trainings and/or experiences).

Are you wearing eyeglasses? If so, time to get a new pair.

You :blah::blah::blah: off point again and again. What for? Get lost!

Crazypaul, your attitude sucks, and uncool. The topic of this thread what?

"9-1-1 is not required to answer calls". Which part did I failed to understand, eh?

And you truly have very unrealistic expectation. Thats sad!

Read my quote that you replied to. Something's wrong with you really. Tell your wife to call 911 for you right now.

I asked how it works when you call 911 if you are badly injured somewhere in the mountain. You didn't answer it. Let me answer it for you, DieEasyBiker. When rescue crews come to you by a helicopter, they put a neck support on your neck to prevent spine damages getting worse and other stuffs. Right? That means they are trained. I don't care how early or late they show up. My first quote you posted had nothing to do with that but you argued with me about that. WTF?

ONLY if that injured person has a way to make call to 911. If they don't have a way, or a dead battery, they are as good as F....k.d up. That's why 911 can not call every damn calls.

crazypaul, lets put this way.

You believe in law, by 100%, thats alright. You came along with me and you refused to take gun. I got gun up in my sleeve, and no it is not for you buddy!
We got lost in middle of mountain, a bear attacked you and destroyed your dumbphone, the only dumbphone we have. Bam! Oh that was the sound I just shot the bear that just attacked you. He is now dead... Oh golly! your bleeding badly from the bear attack. Well, unfortunately I am not certified medical responder, and you believe in the law that one requires certified so I am out of option. Your gonna dead in just few minutes, or you rather having me breaking the law to save you eh?.

How does this gonna help 911 deliver the emergency responding service in that scenario?

Don't call "dead wrong" or you can get in confrontation with other member.

Interesting to see you and CP have different belief.

Hey man, please don't start personal attack.

If I was frustrated with DHB so call STFU isn't nice word.

It seems like you are survivalist.

Same with Alaska too.

In order to survive, be realistic. Yes, it is nice to have technologies around. But they are not available everywhere, even anytime and that is realistic thinking.

That post of yours above is no good.

Please give me a honest answer. Are ambulance services required to have crews with the knowledge and equipments to save lives? Yes or no? My first quote you replied to was about that, nothing else.

If you own an ambulance company and your employees have no knowledge and you have no equipments available, the state will shut you down in a ****ing second.

Show me where I talked about slow or unresponsive emergency service in that quote of mine. Can you read?

Choking?
heimlich_maneuver.jpg

I think Bear Grylls had a video showing you how to perform the Heimlich maneuver on ones self using a chair.

You still missed my point, if there are no ambulance or helicopter within 250 miles radius, what good is requirement for ambulance personnel training is? Don't forget Helicopter can't travel far, including round trip.

guess you never been in isolated remote locations before.
