Thanks to god about piranhas aren't inherited in US but rarely, you can find in few lakes, especially when people illegally release piranhas into wild.

They are a species of the Amazon rivers... people here get them as a pet and dump them, which is illegal, they are adapting after DNR thought they would die in the cold waters over the winters.... same with some asian fish that are preditory here and taking over the Mississippi...wow
