Clark barely edged over Edwards in Oklahoma with Kerry in close third.

The ballot counters are electronic. Every vote is automatically counted once the person sent it in. I think the reason the total count is slow is because most of the election judges are old people and they need time to read the numbers and call the election board the results. (no offense to old people)

wai a minit they using electronic optical reader shit?!

Gawd help Oklahoma if they use these damned Diebold touch screen computers for the primaries.

But also I recall someone at democraticunderground.com mentioned something about OKlahoma's automatic recount trigger law that goes in effect if the margin between 1st and 2nd place is within 1% like Florida's recount law.

I doubt that is true. The only recount is required is when someone makes a petition for a recount. We dont use Diebold touch screen only electronic optical reader. We been using it for a long time.

Im going to take ur word for that ;)

Anyways the score card for the primaries stand at:

Kerry: 7 states won (Iowa, NH, AZ, Delaware, Missouri, New Mexico, and North Dakota)

Edwards: 1 state won (South Carolina)

Clark: 1 state won (Oklahoma)

Still more primaries to go especially Feb. 10 in Tennessee for me.

Next major multi-state primary is Super Tuesday March 2.
