Hi everyone! I would like to introduce myself

I am just curious, but do people interact on here? My intention for signing up was to interact with others and get to know others. But as far as that goes, I am still talking to myself most of the days :-(

Hi everyone! I would like to introduce myself

I got lost a few times in Jacksonville :-) Even my GPS was asking me which way to turn! In fact, I ended up entering a oneway street illegally at one point! Huge city indeed, and pretty perplexing. But I love it there, and desperately want to move there to live. Thanks for the...

    Two HoH/Deaf people having children

If you are capable of loving unconditionally, then whatever child you bring into this world will be grateful for the mother he/she has. There is nothing wrong with bringing a deaf child into this world. I rather have decent deaf people in this world than hearing criminals. Everyone is...

    Am I hard of hearing?

I don't wear hearing-aids, as they aren't useful for my hearing issue. I tried them before. They make things sound louder, but don't make words sound clearer.

Hi everyone! I would like to introduce myself

I was in Jacksonville last year for a 5 day vacation leave from home here in Ny, and did I enjoy myself! How things, Rockin'robin?

I can sell for more $$$$ now.....

IMO: the bikes should be sold at the price they were first offered for. The weather should not play a role in your pricing. So, you should sell it for the price you first offered him. Sorry, but increasing the price on him for weather purposes is not a reasonable business.

Just kind of a sad rant...

    I've been in your shoes.

    is this offensive?

The problem with the deaf culture, which I am a part of since losing my hearing, is that it is very sensitive. If a hearing person calls a deaf person stupid, for whatever reason, such an insult would be taken to such an extreme level. But if a hearing person tells another hearing person...

Hi everyone! I would like to introduce myself

Hi, Alex! Thanks for the welcoming! Like I mentioned earlier, I am new to the site. How do I locate past comments I've made?

Hi everyone! I would like to introduce myself

My name is Richie, and I am 29 years old ( male). I am from NY Peekskill. I am deaf, but wasn't born so. When I became 20 years old, my hearing slowly and gradually went away, but I managed to learn "some" signs from my deaf friends. I am not perfect with using the ASL, but I know...

DOJ sues AT&T for IP-Relay billing.

Nope, I don't. I am having major issues figuring out to make my own thread. I am a new member. Does this matter? I see nowhere on here to make my own post. This site is rather confusing.

    Single Signing Stud :)

I am certain that not all deaf females are "automatically" compassionate. It appears you are the lucky one who have met great deaf females. But I had negative encounters with a lot of deaf females. And, of course, I don't expect them to be perfect, hence I won't ever say they are...

    Deaf Single

I am also a single male ( 29 years old) and hope to share my life with someone. I am straight and from NewYork. It is so hard to find the right one, especially for me, but I won't lose faith. I believe God will send her to me someday.

Did anyone had hearing when young and lost it around 40?

I am now 29 years old. I went completely deaf at the age of 20 ( well, not completely deaf; I can still hear a little sound, but I am not able to hear when people talk to me, not even when they are up in my face.) It is pretty sad for us who were born hearing and lost it eventually. But I...
