Statistically Arkansas has the cheapest living cost in the United States.
but i'm jewish. i've never "celebrated" Christmas.

Hey, you live in the self-built bird nest. It's priceless, and no property tax at all, because it is on tree.![]()

Yeah.California is not a place what you want to live because it is expensive of cost of living. I live in NorCal, i love it, affordable for me, pretty cheap-expensive for me, fits in my lifestyle. (not biggie deal for me, lol).
I believe its depend on those states to match what they have in states. For example, California is expensive because of those people who make a lot of money such as 40,000 to 100,000 a year as salary...No way that im not telling you what it is mine. Get idea?

I'm moving with one or two months...so I used this link to compare my current city with my new designation.
Pretty much everything is the same - which was surprising...but the biggest increase was utilities. Utilities in my "new" city is well more than double. YIKES! I better get used to reading with candles, suffering the heat without AC, freezing in the winter (sleeping with my snowsuit on), taking sponge baths, and washing my clothes in the creek.![]()
I second you, my son and his wife make good money and they just bought house but they are living on edge. It is hard to put money into saving account now these days.Yeah.
I have a friend who makes $60,000 a year. It sounds like good money, but it isn't. The cost of living where he is... is very high. So, that is "low pay" for him.![]()
Are you kidding me? washing clothes in the creek? I have seen them do it in the river and it is against law around here.I'm moving with one or two months...so I used this link to compare my current city with my new designation.

that means saving money means stop spending on junks, little things we don't need and save it on bills, gas and the house. But I do hope people will "boycott" against the gas companies to stop having high prices gas.
