how old were you driving first time?

i was driving first time at 20 yrs old.
 
15 and 9 months - Learning Permit
17 - Provisional Licence
19 - Full Licence.
 
15 and 6 months for learner's permit and 16 for my full driver's license. Got my own car when I was 17 years old. :)
 
First time I drove with help of dad, I was around 8 or 9. I would sit on his lap and drive.

First time I drove on my own, I was 12. My grandparents lived about 5 miles off the main road and dad let me drive on dirt road to main road then we would switch before getting on main road.

Got permit when I was 14 and got motorcycle permit when I was 15.

i show up my mind. at 6 yrs old, i remembered grabbed my dad's car key while they were asleep, i hit the garage door, i didn't get hurt whew. my dad and mom scolded me and says, "don't do that again". gosh, what a dumb kid i was!. as i get older, my dad and mom says to me, "you hit the garage door when you were little boy". i was like, "oops!". but they laughed anyway.
 
I was 30 and 7 months pregnant when I got my learners and licence.

The reason for the late start was I used to work in Royal Automobile Club of Queensland in claims department dealing with vehicle accidents ... probably subconsciously didn't want to learn to drive at that time.

No, Jake :giggle: ... The male test examiner I had was a tough person but a kind one. I passed first go with only 2 mistakes and possibly due to the fact I was pregnant helps too. :lol:
 
I must be 2 years old when I drove a little 3 wheels bike on the driveway. :)

As for New Zealand license:
Learner license: 16 years old.
Restricted license: 17 years old.
Full license: 19 years old.

First car: 21 years old.
 
First car: 1985 Honda Accord - Gone
Second car: 1982 Holden Commdore - the shitbox ever had
Third and current: 1998 Ford Festiva - The best and lovin' it
 
I think I was 20 when I learned how to drive...and got my car after my 21st birthday I think. I don't really remember though. Now Jeep Cherokee is my 4th car.
 
I got my permit when I was 18, then got license when I was 19.
 
Drove tractor and truck on the farm at 11-12.
Licensed to drive to only to school and back home at 14.
Regular Montana Driver's License at 16.
 
i just learned drive i was 14 yrs old with my ex best friend's mom.. so i got LIC. i was 19 yrs old..
 
I was 23 when I learned how to drive a standard shift 1/2-ton truck in the Navy but I didn't have a driver's license. (We practiced on an abandoned air field.) So, I bought a used VW bug convertible and got a learner's permit. Then I practiced with my bug for the required six months, and got a Florida driver's license. Then I was able to get my military government license so that I could drive staff vehicles.
