Very Interesting...

As for me buying ?? No Thanks cuz I am too afraid to eating it!!! :giggle:

I don't mind but that is HUGE! I may be full with 1/4 of the egg!

Hmm... I wouldn't mind. It should be interesting. It might even taste better!

Oh wait, I could make deviled eggs too!

Imagine, a deviled egg that's as big as my plate! ;)

I don´t mind to cook ostrich egg for 4 persons. Unfortunlately they are expensive. :(

Yes we have been tried piece as gratis test at shopping mall last year. It taste like normal egg. They decorated ostrich eggs beautifully with art work/hand painted. I would buy empty ostrich egg with good price. The shell of ostrich egg is not same as hen´s egg... it likely "hard as plaster", not too thin and easy break like hen´s egg.

Look at this... empty ostrich egg and with decorated ostrich egg.
ostrich egg, Decorative Collectibles, Animals items on eBay.com

We have been tried goose eggs often. It taste same as hen´s egg but it´s 2 to 3 times big than hen´s egg. We got goose eggs from my neighbor time to time - depend how their goose lay a lot of eggs or not... I remember last year, their gooses laid over hundred eggs... what a crazy so they gave many eggs away to me and other neigbors for gratis whom he know us as good neighbors well. What should we do with 35 eggs... :eek3: We baked cookies, cakes and hard boiled eggs, breakfast... until they are gone... *phew* I save some goose eggs for handpainted but it damaged by cats.... play with eggs from easter tree... uurrrhhh...

That's pretty huge egg to eat for breakfast. I don't think I will eat a Ostrich Egg.

I just bidded few minutes ago for €1.50... still 2 hours go... Hopefully I win!!!

I wish for a long time to have ostrich egg as a decoration with art work but it´s too expensive to buy. It cost €25 for that empty egg but I never thought that eggs is in ebay until your thread here... and check at google and saw ebay...:eek3: :ty: to your thread then I am hope to get ostrich egg as a decoration at last... Hopefully...

Instead of the normal egg molds ... will need bazooka molds for ostrich eggs!

Did you know that one ostrich egg has the same amount of cholestrol as ONE CHICKEN EGG!?

Did you know that the male Ostrich helps with the hatching process (sitting on the egg, protecting it) as much as the female does? :) When the babies come out, the male helps teach them how to get ready for the world. I would like to taste it myself. I have a feeling it is much healthier than an egg from a chicken.

GarentTiger is very good at cooking...how about I buy the egg if you cook it? Deal? ;)

I don't mind to try taste Ostrich egg for breakfast someday. I want to try taste it. I want to eat an Ostrich's meat. I heard it's low fat and good health. It's very expensive. I want to eat it someday!

Ostrich egg is equavalent to 12 chicken eggs. I wouldn't eat it alone, bad for heart. My aunt ate one too and she said taste so good and plenty left over tho.

But... if it was prepared in a way that it could be an appetizer, perfect!

Imagine a huge deviled egg sitting in the middle of a living room. Just cut off a piece and enjoy. :)

I once saw ostrich eggs at the pop-n-mom store, where they sold ostrich meats. I don't know if I am willing to taste some. Maybe I'll have to see how they look/smell.

I believe youse can eat ostrich burgers at Fuddruckers.
