I heard to lots of $200.00 too much worth money. That is crazy not good for too much.... The people want to steal dvd, movies, game video, that is not good for your health.. That is very not good. my opinion is not sure what happened new technology.

PSP is $169.99 now. in case it's core package.

Theft isn't issue when stores are including in security case, such as Wal-Mart and Target.

For Best Buy, theft is more difficult and impossible because there's one or couple of employees who stand on front of door, just between entrance and exit to check everything that cause alarm to pop up or go off, they watch on everyone and CCTV.

i would like buy PSP one days and i look PSP prices more expensives and some less no matter how much price would be!

my brother have PSP and PSP2 also but i have younger cousin who have PSP2 too!

I just suggest you go to pawn shop, selling the used PSP about 99/ 110 bucks, that is it!

I did purchase the USED psp from pawn shop which is the great VALUE condition for true WISE and best ECONOMY! I am happy with it for two years now without regrets. :P

PSP looks like more PS1.5 than PS2.

Are you speaking of graphics? If so, I think the PSP has good graphics, HD screen, but I believe it is at a speed/mhz just below the PS2. I recall reading a lot about the PSP when I had one a few years ago. I would still have the PSP if it didn't start to fall apart on me. IMO the PSP is not portable, and is still a home handheld. Nintendo makes much better and reliable portable products.

Damn, I was posted in wrong thread, it should be in DS vs. PSP thread.

For graphic, DS looks like hybrid of N64 and PS1, let me to compare with Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 64.

MK 64 course has nice and smooth, more looks like true 64 bit since characters looks not good as MK DS since MK DS course looks more PS1 or 32 bit to me because of notice on graphic with some pixels on track, that's hard to explain. I had tested with MK 64 from Wii Virtual Console and MK DS from DS.

Yup, PSP has nice graphic but their resolution is low than PS2 because it does help this games to be smooth with slow GPU, if PSP was true 480p then would make graphic looks like outdated and probably more laggy, Test Drive Unlimited on PSP looks more like PS1.5 since Test Drive Unlimited looks like PS2 but behind of Xbox 360. If Sony is going to introduce new gen of PSP with exceed of PS2's graphic, it would be imagine an different.

I feel that next-gen of Nintendo portable would be more likely between full N64 and Gamecube, can't wait until Nintendo is introduce about something.

Reduce of resolution and high texture graphic would be help alot for PSP, that what Sony was created.

The best useful feature of the PSP is playing videos either UMD or ripped to a MStick. Since I got the PSP, I ended up collecting old ephemeral and silent fims that I got for free at the Internet Archive. I paid 199 for my PSP way long before the price cut, and the PSP is worth the extra $ over the DS for its versality besides just playing games.

Today my brother was amazed how much videos I managed to stuff in my 4 gig MStick and played a 100 year old movie "The Great Train Robbery" for him.

My son got one but doesnt use it that much so maybe I will sell if he not gotta use it that much. Dang him, he use xbox360 alot then other system.

He wanted me to buy wii but I said NO!!!! Just one system and that is it. After that no complaint. :giggle:

One of Nintendo's stances is price. They can make something really good, but if it costs too much, they won't do it. That is one of the reasons the DS is not as sharp looking as the PSP, but I do know a few games on the DS look good. I guess it does depend on the game developer too.
