That's great that you are into natural phenomena! :) I sometime watch discovery shows. My dad loves to watch it every night. I usually watch it with my dad when I visit them in Oregon. I don't watch telelvision much.

LOL! I grew up with big time redneck family. Surprisely, I'm too high maintenance to be redneck! LOL! I know what redneck lifestyle is like. My family that considered themselves as rednecks but they live in nice homes but they loves to dress sloppy, eat big meals with trans fats, watch rodeos and footballs/baseballs, big trucks/SUVs, love to chew the toothpicks, always wear farmer hat caps, farmer tans, always order Salmon or Lobster with fries (no, I'm not kidding) and my grandparents are big time white trash... They left very old vehicles parked at their property... Saved furnitures and clothes from 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. So yeah my family are crazy people but I love them! :) I'm nowhere near them and I considered myself as "black sheep" LOL! :giggle: They always pick on me for always dress up very nicely, the way I walk (I walk like a runaway model), being snobby, being fussy about dirty, show off my egos, refused to eat foods that have trans fats inside and refused to order meals with fries on it. I got used of it. :giggle:

yep and my mom told me to get a different hobby.. but i cant help if i am interested in things like that? I chased a tornado when i was prggy with my son TJ...:giggle: i guess im weird ? hehe..

sorry back to topic.. anyway what about skyscrapers in other countries? i saw the pics of Seoul or other city? beautiful skyscraper there. Look crowd, i might add. Are they up to code, i wonder?

haha, we all have weird hobbies, I do too. :)

I don't know if the skyscrapers in seoul are up to code, that's a good question. In my opinion, a city with the most beautiful skyline is Seattle, Chicago, vancouver, bc (if they raise height limits to make it look variable and hong kong. :)

Many countries have an international codes but not all of them have it... I am not sure if South Korea have that codes too. I think they might have since they kept buildng more and more skyscrapers to meet its growth needs.

Believe it or not i never see vancovuer, bc's skyline? i guess i gotta look it up online.. heh.. i always thought NYC's skyline look beautiful that is till 9/11 and now it look funny.. :(

aww really? van bc. skyline is very dense but looks funny with all the same heights packed together, yet its in a beautiful settng. :)

nope, I haven't seen lr's skyline before. I should check it out. I didn't know they have one until you mention it to me. :)

Yeah they forgot to include another tall building (twisted tower) too. It will be about two blocks away from this tallest bulidling (rendering).
 
Kuwait City has a plan to construct world's tallest building... I forget how tall it will be... I will find the information when skyscrapercity.com working again.

omg! that looks rather too tall to fit with the skyline! it looks gigantic compared to those tiny skyscrapers.

yes haha.. im sure each city have it own skyline? ha... Dallas look small but when u get closer and get there then it look big? ha.. funny..

Yeah! Same thing with Burj Dubai, Al Burj, Chicago Spires, and Crown Las Vegas that are too tall for the skylines.

yeah, I think technology boosted the skyscraper height and population growth also.

yeppers, I remember a vision of a strange looking tower in tokyo area and I forget the name of it. I will have to try finding it and post it later only if metroguy03 didn't find it first. :giggle:
