In our culture, someone is single until the wedding is done ! ( someone who is engaged is still considered single )

I can be said to be attracted to a girl and am thinking of getting married soon.

I agree :( it is difficult to find 'the fish' in the sea for a deaf/hoh.. communication barrier is very difficult for relationships.
 
On tax form for year 2006 I filed as Single. So, this means I considered to society as single.

I am single and unattached for a long time.
 
I am taken for 2 years. Before being taken I was single for 8 years.
 
i am legally separated and divorce is in process..so it wont be long before i will be officially "divorced" but Im gonna take my sweet time! No rush! :D

no i got married last Jan.. and his mom ran me out of the house.. telling me that it is HER house, not my hubby's and for me to get rid all of the pets. she made it sound like it is not my house all along? I had Mac with me for MANY years before i was with my hubby.. I wont give him away and my cats too? fuck it.. my hubby didnt defend me or stand up for me so i said BYE BYE and moved out! so here i am.. sigh!

Have you met your soon to be ex-husband mom before you two got married?

Your soon to be ex-husband should know that you won't give up on your pets before you two got married. That sounds like you two had miscommunciation issues. I'm sorry to hear that. :(
 
You and husband should have your own place and be ready to start your lives together.

yes im serious.. grrr.. no i didnt meet her after we eloped.. she was always out of town or out of state.. so didnt meet her till after we eloped then we finally met each other.

no it was not miscommunication. he KNEW that i love animals and i have been around them all of my life since i was a baby as I grew up on a farm. i showed him all of the pictures of pets that i had when i was baby to now. so yes we did talked about it as he said that his mom made him give his dog away. so he said he will BE there for me if his mom said something about the pets but in the end he didnt..he broke my promise. so i said BYE BYE..
