Depends on any extradition agreements between our two countries.

I also lived thru the time of all the trouble the US had from Iran when we gave sanctuary to the former Shah after he was deposed. That didn't work out well.

Interesting, of course, I remember about we let Shah to stay in our country that angered Iran and took over of our embassy.

I have no regret about the president in Turkey after they assaulted on protesters last year, even they went after LGBT Pride too. I thought it will better if he is ousted from military coup, but it won't make situation better for their citizens.
 
I read about many people said that Erdogan supports to turn Turkey into Iran and replace with sharia law so military is trying to save Turkey's secularism.
 
turkey si a shit hole. istandbul wasnt too bad in th elate 90s, it was fairly cosmopolitan but a mess, filthy and dirty, but it seemed to be wanting to do something besides slip into tyranny.
i even think they might of had a women pm or a mayor or something i remember her pictures all over..
its a nightmare now though.

Oh wow, I wish that military coup will be successful to save Turkey. :(

I despise Erdogan very much due to police assault on protesters and LGBT Pride, also they side with Islamists too.

I support military coup or military intervention to remove the leader who are abusing the human rights and violation of constitution but military should replace abusive leader with temporary leader until next election is coming, not becoming military dictatorship, also Erdogan needs to be charged with crime for violation of human rights and corruption.

Did they agree to send Fethullah Gulen back? I can't find that a decision was made on his extradition.

Same here, I can't find, but Turkey is just requesting right now.

I don't think that Fethullah Gulen will be extradited, but it was Erdogan found way to blame on someone for military coup, also I believe that US Supreme Court is going save Gulen from deporting to Turkey.

no it was the high officer at the incerlick airbase who asked for asylum with yanks.
they turned him in
 
It looks like Turkey isn't going be qualified to join EU due to human rights violation, unstable relation between civilian and military, assault on LGBT people and other problems.

Seriously, you will going be safe in Mississippi than in Turkey.
