It's 1:00 PM right . HUH?? It's time stamped 2: 00PM on my post and my computer said it's 1:01 PM right now. And the date is right too .

WDYS..... are you using Internet Explorer? That might explain why your time stamps are messed up? Just a guess of mine here.

Interesting. Someone on another forum commented that the time was off on that forum for her.

I just posted a comment on another forum and the time stamp was wrong too

it's 1:57 PM and is posted my comment at 2:57 PM . I did what CB2 suggested
but that did not help with my time stamp.

Darn it. I was hoping that might do it. :hmm: Is your browser up to date?

I don't think it's the browser. Either her forum settings is not set to auto detect Daylight saving time (switch the time in spring and fall) or maybe the setting in the computer clock is not set to auto detect Daylight saving and it is still on Daylight saving time. That's the only thing I can think of as the time shows correctly for me on the forum.

She may have what time zone she is in set wrong within the forums that the problem is occurring on.

The email I got from my vet about homeless kitties needing new homes , to save their lives. :( I forward it to some people hoping they knew someone wanting a kitty .

I fixed my timestamp it got set to the wrong time zone some how .

1. Go to the AllDeaf home page.
2. Click User CP at the top.
3. Go to Your Control Panel on the far left column.
4. Scroll down to Settings & Options.
5. Click on Edit Options.
6. Scroll down, almost to the bottom of the page, to Date & Time Options.
7. Make sure that the correct time zone and settings are selected:
  • GMT-5:00 Eastern US
  • Automatically detect DST settings
8. Save your changes

My time zone got messed up when the computer reset itself turning the clocks back in the fall. That never happen before.

I went my setup on my computer and fixed the time. It was set for pacific time zone and I am in the eastern time zone. That was weird, my old computer did not do this with day light saving time. Thank you guys for your help.

ASL dinner at Olive Garden tonight. Is it 5:30 yet? It's the 2nd part of the class's final exam (1st part was online, understanding the signs and stories the instructor posted videos of, and answering questions about the grammar structure that we've learned over the semester). At dinner, we are to keep our mouths shut and SIGN haha. Which is fine with me, but for others they get nervous or unsure and want to resort to using their voices. Should be fun!

Thinking of my day tomorrow.... begins at 5:45 AM tomorrow morning, as I need to be at the Metra station by 9:45 AM for the 10:10 train into Ogilvie. After deboarding, I need to walk to LaSalle/Adams, where I will need to locate the address the party is at. Afterwards, I have a couple of options: take the 3:25/4:25 train back home OR spend a few hours downtown getting some photos? I'll probably decide that later.

It's almost 5:30 PM here but that is not going to help you.

That is one way to lose weight , keep your mouth shut at meal time. :giggle:

Thinking that I will be ok with this job...if every week can be like this week, then I will be happy!

Interesting that you're doing that at Olive Garden because when my daughter, a friend of hers & I were taking ASL, we went to Olive Garden one night (the 3 of us & my daughter's boyfriend at that time) and my daughter decided to be voice off. I can't remember if she succeeded or not. She did order by pointing to the menu.

Thinking about my dad. He passed away on this date seven years ago. I've had a candle burning next to his picture all day. I usually go to the cemetery but the weather is just too nasty.
