Plans for Dec. 31st?

I was 24-25 when my daughter was born, so if that would have never happened I think I would still be single and wild ( motorcycles, building hot rods...ect...) I had it made, a house almost paid off then I got married, moved a few times.... it got crazy, but im glad I settled down and settled down hopefully for good this time around... Im too old for this crap and yet the Pain. Just raising my son and getting on with life again.

U can still be a parent and get wild. My husband and I do from time to time. It is ok to take a break from the daily responsibilities. During the first weekend of Dec, I treated my husband to a wild getaway to New Orleans for the weekend to celebrate his 40th. No kids and no responsibilities. It was GREAT! We both work so damn hard at our careers and taking care of our house and son so once in a while we have a weekend to ourselves. :cool2:

I agree...live life to the fullest before settling down! I had some of that before my whoops while I was a student at Arizona State.

Yup. Living my life to the Max before I start making mistakes I might regret.

Well for Growing up... guess we know. because for one, I didnt target anyone, especially you and for 2 you personally came at me for whatever reason. So, if you had a bad day, holiday, whatever... sit back and take a deep breath because you are not my enemy, you have been a friend here for quite some time now. Let the year end well and a new year begin well.

yes it is right.

Conking my head isn't funny.... especially because I have a concussion history, and hitting my head can be dangerous for me, or could even kill me. That's why I wear a bicycle helmet when I ride, because I like to keep pace on my bicycle, and sometimes I only have a couple of seconds to stop before impact. Think it's cool now?

Would my user name have interesting advice to some of above comments?

You are a doctor? This thread was intended to be merry, and perhaps a little curious, not to have things go sour.

As should everyone...including wearing a seat belt in the car, going the speed limit and not playing with a cellphone when we're supposed to be driving. Let's everyone be safe in the new year, for ourselves and our loved ones.

I made mistakes that I have regretted but I still thrive to live my life to the fullest.

I don't make too many mistakes.... mainly because I'm real careful in what I say or do. Someone might be able to insult me or use hurtful words, but I'll just brush it off, and move on, with the exception of a few past behaviors I'm trying to stay away from.

Now that I'm in my 30's, it's time for me to start a new chapter, and see where that leads me.

Ignoring someone who insults you is by far the best course.

It's just like a fifth grade school boy to react and try to start something if someone doesn't like something you have said.

I commend you for your self restraint.

I can't drive, but I DO bring my cell phone with me when I'm on my bicycle for emergency purposes, and if my ntouch mobile goes off, I leave it in my pocket until I have arrived to where I am supposed to be going to-- I don't stop and obstruct traffic or people walking for any reason whatsoever. If there's a text message for me, it can wait until I get there. I NEVER text and ride my bicycle at the same time-- it's just as dangerous as texting and driving.

Well, I am 41 and I gave up on being too careful. Tried that crap and still didn't get me anywhere so I just do what I want to do and be happy. Used to care so much about what others thought of me back then that it caused me anxiety. No more. Life is not about walking on eggshells. If people feel insulted what you say or you do, then too bad for them. You cant make everyone happy all the time. It is impossible so no need to worry about it.
