thinking of decorating my house for Christmas...

Oh no! Before you realize it, your kittens become lit Christmas decorations!

I don't think they get the whole "Christmas Spirit" thing.... :laugh2: Oh gawd, that'd be too close to that weirdo that turned his cat into a helicopter! :ugh: Poor babies!

How is that even possible? Maybe i dont even want to know, but poor kitties!!!

I'll take a purring cat over a cat yowling to be put back on the ground any day. A purring cat is a happy cat. A yowling cat? Not so much.

Huh? Thought I did.

My understanding of how you use sites like that, and my understanding of what FF was asking for, is this.

You go to the site and do the upload. Then you get a screen like this

Then you copy the code where it says

"IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

and paste that into a message here, to make the image visible.

Otherwise you've just uploaded it to the tinypic website, but where is it? How was FF to find it?

Yes, there is that, and it turns out I might've had to sign up, too. I done posted it. Now I'm gonna add that title. Now it's done. It's under "California Christmas Holiday Picture".

Do you understand that I've already done this? And the image is now here in this thread via tinypic.com? (I put a link in my last post.)

And you don't have to sign up to use the site. If you only want to work with one image at a time, you can still upload and share the image (as I described in my last post) without an account.

Actually, I didn't. Sorry about that.

It's ok. I get easily frustrated when I feel like there's a communication failure and I'm struggling to create some clarity.

Feeilng better now, I think :0

If I'd known it'd already been done, I wouldn't have signed up. Oh well. It does intruge me, though-- maybe I'll use that to post my Amtrak holiday pictures when I get back to town.

I came home and saw what OP posted it. I have a few blocks away from my house and their house is filled of the lights all over it included the long fences and long grasses. I remember that someoen moved into there. I believe its their first new house to decorate the x mas lights. so i ll find out if they continues to do that next year.

My cats love to eat my fiber optic tree.... *smh*
Not as bad as my cat that used to eat the strands of silver tinsel off the tree. We didn't know that until we saw him running around the house with tinsel hanging out his butt. (It was no fun removing it.)

We wont buy the silver tinsel, due to threatening to cat's body. So Lucky that silver tinsel is out of style.

As I get older, the decorating becomes less. Indoors, we decorate a tree, put our lighted miniature village on the mantel, set up the manger scene, and set a few other decorations around the house. Outdoors, we put up lights, wreath, and mailbox decoration. There are many decorations we no longer bring out. I get rid of a few every year.

What I can't figure out is where to conveniently story everything. We don't have a basement, and our attic isn't usable for ornament storage. I have to use one entire bedroom closet just for Christmas decor. I don't know what people with elaborate displays do.

:laugh2: Very funny!

You'll most likely be sitting around in the dark whenever ur Electric Bill comes in next month!...HAHA

I would be worried there could a electrical fire and it would burn the house down.

There are some condos and apartment buildings that do not allowed people have to real dead Christmas trees for safety reasons . A renter in my condo threw out her tree and the needles where all brown. It was lucky the fool did not start a fire as she never gave the tree and water. It was dry as bone.
