She even allowed her son to wear KKK costume for Halloween... what is wrong with this picture? SMH

Halloween may be over, but not all of the goblins and ghouls have gone with it.

A 7-year-old boy's homemade Ku Klux Klan Halloween costume is continuing to stir controversy and threats days after he was photographed trick-or-treating in his Craigsville, Virginia neighborhood.

Jessica Black, the pint-sized boy's mother who made his white robe and cloak, says her son understood the risk when putting it on. Not only that, it's a "family tradition," she argued.

Stupid woman she obivously dont love her son properly to put him into hate enviroment child should be incare his mother is cruel woman...god help world she has more children

oh boy... my son saw this on the computer and asked me what the KKK stands for. Going to have to think about this one.

yeah, that wasn't cool at all. A spiderman costume, or a ninja costume would have been way better.

"A family tradition?" That must be some family.

His mother supports KKK so that's why, even though she warned his son about what other people think. He was asked by a reporter if he would do that again next year or so. He said yes.

Oh wow, it is not cool to expose the child to racist material.

Should social worker investigate in this case?

That may not be a bad idea to find just what the parents are teaching their kid with all the mass shooting being done by kids today.

This isn't new, I've seen kids wear KKK costumes growing up in NC. Still, not a good way to educate kids about Southern culture.

I've lived in SC since 1978, and I'm relieved to say that I've never seen anyone wearing KKK costumes. I'm sure they're around but I've never seen them.

KKK wear the hood for a reason , and that is so people will not know who they're. They live a double life so I am surprise the mother gave her out her last name . It could put her boy at risk of getting bully or beaten up. I came across some cops in Boston in the 60's and 70's they where very racist and did not try to hide it.

Same here, I haven't seen any KKK costumes in Alabama.

Yeah, another blemish against the state I live in and apparently this is only 173.37 miles from me. Ah, the nice friendly people I live near and around, eh?

You consider 173 miles to be "near?"

What the hell...? Who would even let their kid dress like that for Halloween or let alone let them watch that movie?!

Clearly these parents need to watch American History X. DAMN good movie, shows what racism does to you. I've seen it a hundred times, but still love that movie.
