Had a nice hot shower, made a cup of coffee with Irish Cream Creamer. Just reading AD and news on my Ipad Mini. While it's raining outside.

i wake everyday am i the dog or the tree today.keep talking to us gummer,take it easy when you withdraw do it under medical supervision and if it is working then re-evaluate dosage.i no dress it up cos coming off is uncomfortable
try not let a bitch deny you from what you want to do.is it possible to talk to someone can give practacl advice and she be given people powers are you uk

same here...but just for an hour and maybe a 1/2....thought it might have been the storm...but it's all good now.
 
Feeling like the weight on me will be lighter tomorrow...after my furball gets his summer haircut. :giggle:
Not looking forward to having to carry a cat carrier with a 19 lb cat in it across the parking lot in the rain. Twice. Ok, maybe he'll only weigh 17 lbs when I pick him up. :o
 
Very good day...no rain at all and sunshine peeking out of the clouds....and I'm feeling pretty chipper at the moment...scrubbed the bathtub and dusted...that's about it!...Think we'll eat out since the weather has cleared up.

similar over here, too, been getting lots of warnings of chills and rain and wind but my town seems to be a spot thats just dodges it all...we've been lucky...so ive opend all windows (slightly cool but warm sun) to let air thought to flush out dog smells out of the house...

New job 2 months ago, took a new systems prog course, working with all new systems, new people, assigned a new project with 4000 hours worth of work, and it is already 6 weeks behind schedule.....all while doing a ton of remodeling in the house since winter...still not done....everyone is mad at me cuz I am not available to help them with their issues....time to start saying "no" more often....

If you read on the news about a deaf guy going insane and starting WWIII, most likely will be me...:lol:

I'm trying to do that more myself lately. Not very good at it all, but I'm trying.

I'm tired and feeling a little down. Mixed emotions with my brother.
 
Little down myself today also...family member relapsed and is back in Rehab...not gonna let it ruin my day tho'...getting out while the weather is good and check out a rummage sale at the American Legion of Foreign Wars and the Lions Club....maybe I can find some doggie dresses or something for the kitties....
 
From my cat: I'm feeling embarrassed by this lion cut mom had me get yesterday. I feel naked and will hide in the spare bedroom till my hair grows back out ... or until dinner time.
 
My brother is talking about taking over the care of my mother, moving her back to Missouri, just to put her in a nursing home. She cannot afford it and he cannot afford it. He would have her do this through the states Medicaid program. We did that with her recovery after her surgery. She got the basic care and if I had not been there daily, they would not have done as much as they did.

He's only doing this because he did not like a post I made on FB regarding my husband. We have a care plan set up for my mother and she will be doing Hospice at Home. Her 2 doctors are up on everything and one of them is also going to be her Hospice doctor. Mom is going to tell my brother she will never move. She's been told that the cold and the weather up there will make things worse for her.

Caring for a parent is not easy. You been doing a fantastic job for caring for your mother and MIL. You deserve a great vacation!
 
I feel good because today I finally bought a new medical bracelet. I had my old one for over 5 years! It has a slip inside with a blog address that contains all my medications. This is a preventive measure just in case I am in need of emergency care.

HOT 109 degrees here and still getting hotter.
 
Right this moment stuffed and sleepy, I might go to bed early tonight. Worked from 9-2, came on here for a bit while drinking my after work coffee :) Laid out by the pool for an hour or 2, then went to the gym. Stopped at Sonic on the way home, dang thet got big sandwiches. So between working, working out, the sun sucking the life out of me, and my very very full belly. I is ready to drop.
 
Rained most of today. Can't wait til the sunshine again, so I can get back biking.

Mother is back home after being in hopsital/nursing home for the last 2 months. Hopefully no more issues.
