it does not have to be something too direct like that. it can be insidious and over time, it creates uncomfortable work atmosphere that will be enough to drive them out. they quit instead of getting fired. this is a old common tactic used by company to avoid paying for unemployment benefits.

I don't think anything has happened YET so far... but I have no doubt that CFA will be monitored carefully by DOJ since Cathy's remark.

hopefully nothing happens but I'm sure the employees are disappointed by his remark.
 
Why would you think the DoJ would be watching CFA when Cathy was simply exercising his 1st amendment rights?

Dan's free speech about opposing gay marriage has nothing to do with it but he donated money to FRC which supports killing gays in Uganda and wants to imprison gay people for being gay in America. Obviously he also supports it. Won't it make him look bad or suspicious?
 
so what about gay employees then? now CFA is borderline violating discrimination law. now CFA will be under DOJ microscope for that.

CFA is not even close to discriminating against it's employees because of Cathy's statement! Get real Jiro & wake up and not stir up! He stated that he supports traditional family and biblical values and traditional marriage! How is that in any way related to discrimination???!!! DOJ doesn't have the time to waste on ignorant stuff like this! You sir are a crap stirrer!!! Either that or you can't think logically!!! No discrimination meant or implied towards you either!

deaf people know this. we've been there at our workplaces. it's exactly same thing for gay people.

You've got to be kidding me?! CFA treats their employees like they want their customers to be treated and that is that they treat them all very well! How do I know this? First because I am a customer of CFA! But more importantly because we have a good friend and her son that work here locally for CFA! The mother is a corporate trainer and I know several others that have worked for CFA! It is a wonderful corporation! Hence that is why they received so much positive support recently and continue to!!!

Without anyone making a complaint first, any surveillance or investigation by DOJ would be harassment, pure and simple. That's not their job.

I think I know why you use this screen name now! No one other than the ultra wacko hate mongers like Westboro and a small group of other people want to see gays die or be imprisoned because of their sexual orientation!!! Wake up and stop drinking the koolaid!!!! :laugh2:

Dan isn't charge to fire gay employees but franchisers or bosses could if they want.

Some states have anti-discrimination law that cover gay employees.

We picked up some food from there yesterday afternoon, between lunch and supper times, which is normally the slowest meal time. They still had steady business.

We have young friends who work at CFA. A lot of siblings work there. They see how much the first brother or sister enjoys the job, so as soon as the younger ones are old enough, they get a job there, too.

Oh I can answer very well and easily on that. CFA and Cathy would certainly obey the law of the land first and second because they are good Christian people they would continue to love their employees and take care of them!!!
