It's very easy for those dang things to get infected, hon. Staph lives on the skin, and that's one way you could have gotten it infected. Basically, you don't have to do a dang this, and, it will happen.

Hang in there, and, let them assess you. Hopefully, you can treat this with just oral antibiotics. Keeping my fingers crossed.
