I grew up in a big family. At one point or another, guaranteed, between all of us kids, somebody would be annoyed with someone else for a while, for reasons good or bad. We all got lessons in how to ignore annoying people at an early age. And eventually realized that once in a while, even annoying people might have something worthwhile to say.
That's how I treat forums. If I think someone is just parading their ignorance, I can ignore it. If I just don't happen to have a response for something, I don't respond. If I've exceeded my own self-imposed maximum for how much I feel like explaining my point of view, and someone else keeps harping on it, I can ignore it.
One of life's wonderful rules: "You do not have to attend every argument to which you are invited."
I agree you! that is true!
