Heh I think that's the gist of it.
Someone is obviously not proof reading their posts!
Heh I think that's the gist of it.
Or maybe he crunched some numbers with DareDevil.![]()

So, you think it is perfectly acceptable for her to be completely uninformed regarding a significant part of this country's history, and still consider her qualified to run for President.
Stop now, Koko. You are only making it worse for yourself.![]()
HEY! I just saw this!!! Excuse me! 75% of the time, my answers are right every single time!
Actually, the 47-57 mix up is totally something I would do. Sometimes I would say something and I think I'm saying it, but I'm actually saying something else. I've actually said "You don't know who Gary Coleman is? He's very easily recognizable. He's really short, he's only 7 feet tall!!" And I kept saying "Yea 7 feet tall!" and making a short motion.... Obviously I meant 5 feet....
So yea... I'd be a horrible President.
No wonder we got stuck with Bush! I would hope the Amercian voters have learned from their mistakes.
I am convinced, after reading this thread and some of the links from it, that if Palin declared that Santa Claus was real, there would be a bunch of people Googling the mailing address for North Pole.
So, Paul Revere never warned the British?

No no no no..... they try to sound smart, so they would just make up legal mumbo jumbo that goes along something like this:
"There is NO evidence that shows that Santa Claus does not exist."
"There have been reported cases that have shown inexplicable miracles that occur on or around December 25th."
"There are two versions of the North Pole: Magnetic North Pole and Geographical North Pole. It is unknown which North Pole is referred to when discussing about the living arrangements of said person, Mr. Claus. There is no proof that Mr. Claus does NOT live in either Poles. Also, there have been extensive studies that show strange and unknown activity deep in near the magnetic North Pole, which could be possible evidence for the existence of Santa Clause and/or his previous/current place of residence/business."
Now, did or did not Paul Revere warn the British about what's ahead of them ?
Curious that people are quiet about this one.

We just aren't supporting your attempt to backpedal.![]()
Yes, he did. It's also curious that you never answered my question. Did you honestly believe that is what Palin meant?
You only said "What she said was accurate" which is NOT the same thing as "The accurate part of what she said was what she MEANT."
Also, I don't believe what she said was accurate. She combined the details of the ride through town (to warn the Americans) with "warning" the British.

I already answered that to swk. Paul Revere did warn the British military.
She said, "He who warned, uh, the British that they weren’t gonna be takin’ away our arms..."
Um, there were no Americans to warn at that time. They were all British citizens at the time although they, the colonies, were trying to gain independence from Britain at the time. This Midnight Ride happened on April 18, 1775 which was more than a full year before that nation became independent (July 4, 1776) known as the United States of America where people then became known as "Americans."
Sarah got it correct. She already visited P.R.'s house and probably learned the history there. She recounted it correctly. So, yes, it's accurate. Not precise but accurate.
So, Paul Revere never warned the British?

OH OH OH... wait a minute... you believed that she was talking about the colonists who were technically the British? So you don't believe that she was talking about the time Paul was stopped by the British who were going to attack colonists??
Edit: Wait you did say British military, then why did you even bring up the American thing in the first place?
