I am witness the repo!!! :-O

huh interesting.. why keep a spare key if you sold a car? Cuz of loan?

Obviously it is a loan, Jiro... We do not repo cars that are paid off. :)

It was a buy here, pay here car lot.

Cars that are paid off we give them the spare keys. :) We did not keep anything but a record of cars that are paid for in cash or paid off. So the only reason we kept a spare keys is custumers would lose a key or for repoing obviously.

It appears your ex-FIL didn't have a very dependable customer base if he expected to repo them on a regular basis. :giggle:

It just means ex FIL knew it might happen and planned accordingly to make things easier for himself.

When I bought a 1999 Saturn SW1 from my girlfriend's sister last year, I got 2 keys for it. However, I lost 1 key. I've since sold the car. The buyer broke that key set that I gave him. Buyer asked me if I had the other set. I wouldn't find it. I felt bad for the buyer, but it isn't my problem. For the record, I've been paid in full for the car.

I didn't make a rule

if the sign says - TOWING ZONE... then they can tow you at anytime they want. Doesn't matter if you parked for 10 seconds or 10 minutes. All you can do is beg for mercy

 Maybe that guy parked his truck in towing zone.

Im with you! We do not need big government, our government right now is spending millions or maybe billions of dollars just to watch honest citizens. DO we need that? Hell no!

I really want uncle sam to get out of my life, he don't need to know my personal life.

Stop whine and move out of USA then.

Most GM with OnStar can unlocked a door thru wireless carriers without a remote or a key. That's why REPO looks up the VIN then call to company for disable the alarm and unlock the door.

VIN is not easy to swap due you can use scan tool thru OBD to find the VIN.

Wirelessly posted (sent from a smartphone. )

Theres Repo Games on Discovery channel I think. They surprise people at homes, etc and they find themselves in a game to answer 3 trivia questions right and the car will be paid for. If they get it wrong...goodbye.

The reason why people go to a "Buy here, Pay here" Is because they have no credit in the first place... :)
