I am break from study college final math...:eek3:

I thought and want share story....

It was very interesting to watch the repo men take the truck out of the parking lot at mall...

I took my girls to mall to buy some toys. They were hungry. so we went to MacDonald's. We decided that we would eat the lunch in my truck on nice day! I saw the man drive his beautiful shiny black Dodge Ram like my truck ( but different my silver truck Ram with Thunder road *rare* ) He parked his truck and went inside the Mexican restaurant. We were eating lunch. I saw the tow truck with two men come to the parking lot. I observed them because they looked at the black truck. The men were out of their tow truck. One of them looked in the black truck's front window and i assume that he looked at the VIN numbers. Another man was on a cell phone. Then they looked at each together and nodded. My daughter disturbed me and i looked back and talked with her. I turned back to watch them but I missed how they open the black truck's door. I guess that they used tools to open the door. One of them immediatly took his towing truck close to the black truck and another man went underneath and put a chain on in it. The black truck sat on the tow truck's bed and left. I looked at the time and guess took less 5 minutes. So i decided to stay a little bit longer to see the owner come out and react to seeing his truck gone but I gave up and left and didnt see the man come out!

Of course I felt bad for the owner who probably lost his truck to repo!!

I dont realize that they can do to someone else's car while someone else is at the resturant instead of home.

They can repossess it almost anywhere. It can be dangerous work. Some people don't want to give the vehicle up even though they didn't make the payments.

they can do it almost anywhere depending on state laws but many states give legal rights to repo guys to enter private property to repo a vehicle.

update - oh damn glenn beat me to it

:hmm: Assuming car thieves don't have access to tow trucks ...

But I might have assumed first that it was a theft in progress before thinking of repo.

I don't. Instead - I feel bad for company forcing to take action to this heartbreaking decision when one does not pay up.

Nobody enjoys taking people's car but they gotta especially when they paid for it.

I doubt a thief would go to that length. A tow truck is expensive and not inconspicuous.

That is because I am staying out of that other gun thread. I can't possibly keep up with it. It was about 300 posts long last time I looked. :dizzy:
