Over 60 birthday

Umm, then why would they want money for a gift?

Me too. That's what I am puzzled when my friend told me so. I will try to look around for yankee candles with something or backyard something.

I have seen their backyard. So they might need to have some nice garden decoration. :hmm:

They have a garden? Where do they live? Depending on the location, they might like a birdhouse or bathouse. You could provide the blueprints and material for them to build one, and the birds/bats would take care of insects in their yard.
Just throwing ideas around, hah.

That's a good idea, like the zoo, or aquarium, or water park, or (Heaven help us) Chuckie Cheese.
Yeah, Chuckie Cheese did cross my mind, but I was thinking of the grandparents.

Those are good ideas. We have a birdhouse out back that we can watch from the kitchen. This is the third year that the chickadees have returned to it. It's fun watching them bring nesting materials in, and then later watching them bringing in food for the babies.

Birds and bats are great for reducing the gnat and mosquito population.

Wow, when I turned 60 last month I didn't get anything like that!

We just had a small celebration with immediate family. I certainly didn't expect any gifts from anyone else. :giggle:

I know some people do "over the hill" theme birthday parties with inexpensive gag gifts.

What about an appt to get a massage?
