Let's do this more often. I will learn ASL, and you silly people in this thread STOP using it and learn to talk and then it will be like musical chairs for languages. Hearing people swithch spots with deaf people... oh wait, we will need visual cues for when the music stops, so everyone knows... nevermind.

going with the theme of this spoof thread....

Deaf schools are bastions of isolation/negaitvity/restrictive environment and if d/Deaf kids were all put in the hearing/mainstream schools then the kids would all be hearing and everybody would be so happy....
 
I deaf children should be required to speak perfectly before being allowed to graduate from school.

Do hearing people speak perfectly? No, I do not think so.

I encountered many managers in my former career life, most of them do not speak perfectly either, yet they succeed in their career.

They spelled something like tomarrow, now (should be know), etc....

Just using that as a spoof to show the double-standard of education between hearing and deaf students.

Growing up I was always corrected on my speech to the point that I just quit talking in front of others in public. If I didn't talk, I couldn't be corrected.

However if Johnny, who is hearing, mispronounced a word they thought it was cute or it was just "his daddy's accent".

That is what is behind my earlier statement. Besides someone forgot it was supposed to be a spoof or opposite of what you would normally read on AD.com.
