not too surprised about that either in the bold...since european countries tend to have like 3 languages in their education for instance, if in france they learn some german or dutch and they also learn English as it is a business language in the trade/industrial/commercial world...so from that slant, its not too surprising terps tend to be able to switch over at will, even 'borrow' jokes from another since they see it fitting in the d/Deaf culture..
