I just love doing that kind of stuff and I bought lime green and white/black wrappings with black lace ribbons and bows so my theme next year will be black/lime green. My hubby will kick my ass...lol!

YOu mean like the red and green plastic boxes? I never thought of it, but I bet even I would not lose that. It can save a lot if you buy on clearance and get ready for the next year.

Yea those ..I bought the ones that were clear on the bottom with the red top. At Target. :) Just put all the stuff I bought for next year in them and put them in the basement. I have two HUGE storage boxes but they are for the Christmas lights, outdoor decor, ornaments and indoor Christmas decorations. :)

I also try to do that for Halloween..buy all the outdoor Halloween decorations the day after Halloween but this year, I didnt have the money to do that.

I used the money my mom gave me for Christmas to buy all the stuff today. I have plenty of clothes and I dont really need anything else.
 
Okay. We had a white christmas. All the snow is gone now.

The rains were equalivent to the snow we had last week. If today's rains had been snow, we would have gotten 2 feet again. My basement is flooded again..ugh. The grounds are soo saturated right now. I worry about the trees falling when the winds come tmw.

what is freezing fog? That's a new one to me. We had fog on Christmas day from all the snow and the warm air.

Whoops, double trouble posts. Freezing fog means when fog rubs against anything it leaves white layer of frost all over the place..causes icy conditions on roads and low visibilities on the roads as well.

Interesting, it sounded similiar to white out during snow storm. It is DAMN scary S***LESS. We once had 36 cars pile up next to airport. That was after they extended the runaway, add two tunnels for local traffic only, and there is a highway next to it. That was when the sky was fully blue, not a speck of cloud but very windy. Man! 36 cars ramming into the white-out. There was one death and it was female teenager.

Yeah..I can imagine...white out conditions isn't fun to be in....scary for sure, similar to freezing fog with very low visibilities in a way. A driver said he could see only up to 15 yards away, I think.
 
Yeah, snow white-out can be as bad as the visible from windshield is only maybe couple inches that is it. Can't even see another car, even the road itself too. The only thing that can vbe visible is just headlight shining that is it during nighttime.:eek3:

Oh, amateurs. :P

You haven't experienced a rough winter unless you've spent one in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I've got a friend that lived there for a couple years and he experienced the worst of winter weather.

Where I am, we experience winter weather similar that of to far northern states. Although it's still hard to compare considering our weather is often more treacherous than people in Southern Ontario experience.

Yeah, that's pretty scary just driving when you can't see anything out there, that reminds me of some part of the movie of Day After Tomorrow when they drove a truck in white out conditions...they had to use GPS to find the freeway, geez. They ended up hitting into a pile of snow on the highway and had to bail the truck and went walking.

Seriously, when I moved down to North Carolina. I woke up seeing maybe half an inch of snow outside. Gotta go work, and when I drove to work I see nobody around, all stores, business etc closed. I was what the heck? I arrived at work, my boss yelling at me that I am nuts. I told him that he forgot where I came from. I ended up spending driving around looking at those people that stayed home. :hmm:

I personally love lots of snow, had great time driving my Jeep plowing though snow. So, Im glad I no longer live in NC.

Toronto isn't far from here.
