I think even if the lady did get an abortion, she would have ended up being killed.
I take back my earlier statement saying it was on the OP. I think the journalist was also intentionally misleading by titling the article "Abortion Argument Leads to Murder." "Argument Leads to Murder" would have sufficed with the abortion detail mentioned in the article itself. But by making the very first word of the title "Abortion," just as Shel and deafskeptic mentioned, the reader is subtly pushed in the direction of thinking of pro-life vs. pro-choice.
She wanted to keep the child so she would NOT better off with abortion. No matter how awful he is or if he would have kill her sooner or later or abuse their child. People need to deal with it if someone want to keep the child.
Dumbheads.......correct me if I amwrong...but isn't 8 months preggy too late to have and abortion?
So he thought he could solve his problems by killing two? And spending life in prison?
Some kill abortion docs....others kill one who wants to keep child.
Where is the exit door on this insane planet????
yes it is intentional and refusing abortion would be his motive.
but I've seen (I witnessed this) where guy would punch a girl's stomach out of rage because she wouldn't have abortion. They talk about it at first, then get an argument, and when he doesn't get what he wanted, he would beat the crap out of her.

Dreama used the headline that the original news story used. It was also included in the lead paragraph, and in the captions of pictures and videos that illustrated the story at the news website. So, Dreama was not misleading in using that as a thread topic.
It wasn't Dreama who originally deducted that the double killing resulted from an argument about abortion. It was the victims' neighbors and the investigating deputies.
Instead of debating the OP's motives or methods, why not focus on the story itself?

I believe we have focused on the story by pointing out that the time line does not add up, and that this was a case of domestic violence that ended in murder. An abuser doesn't need a reason to abuse. They believe they are given that right, and that the victim is subservient and less than human.
Still doesn't make up for the accusation against dreama. She just reported the news, and based her opinion on the wording of the article.
Yes, her pro-life stance is no secret, but isn't she entitled to it? So instead of attacking the original poster, maybe attack the source? I means... people could be attacking your belief based on the articles you choose to post on the forum.
And... pro-abortion, without the pro-life or pro-choice context, have the implication of "eugenics" if you ask me...
The story doesn't make sense. In the video tape, the neighbor that found the woman said that he found her inside her house alone and that she was already cold. The article says that witnesses said that they were fighting about an abortion that couldn't legally happen. Witnesses to what? Previous fights? Not the murder. It looks like sloppy reporting and poor writing.
