Police Caught Playing Wii In Raided House

If it is in direct contact with the eyes, open sores, open wounds and so on. Blood-borne diseases don't live for long after they have been exposed to air... think "less than a second."

I am not even sure if I should laugh.... or be grossed out by the McDonald's thing.

That is not always true. HCV can live a while outside the body for quite some time.

Yup.. when I was working in Health care. I have taken advantage of the vaccination to prevent HCV. It is known majority to live up to four days. But some even say it can live on the surface for months!

Sorry this topic when off the wall. but just hated to see some think that all blood borne diseases die in seconds of being exposed to the air..

Any hoo. The Polk County Sheriff.. OMG.. In the area I live in. They are supposedly the ones that catches all the criminals. and Grady Judd always, always has a news conference about it and bragging about it. It is surely the topic of the town.

Just seems so funny and ironic... I Just keep watching and I just about fall over. How he said they guys have a lot of down time... during a raid. He is making excuses but at the same time he figuring out how he wants to discipline them.

He even mentioned how stupid they were for not taking the computer or electronic devices during the raid. When he made that comment. It made me think... Shame they didn't take that device. They would have never been busted.......

:rofl2:

Somebody better yell at them 'C'mon, you slackers!!'

*shrugs*

HCV is an entirely different matter, but even then most healthcare professionals acknowledge there is no harm in handling or eating food since it require blood-to-blood contact.

I stand corrected by the type of Hepatitis.. It is actually the type A.... I was speaking of. It is ingested. Not a blood borne one.

Letter A Hepatitis A is an acute liver disease caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV), lasting from a few weeks to several months. It does not lead to chronic infection.

Transmission: Ingestion of fecal matter, even in microscopic amounts, from close person-to-person contact or ingestion of contaminated food or drinks.

Vaccination: Hepatitis A vaccination is recommended for all children starting at age 1 year, travelers to certain countries, and others at risk.

If they were on duty, it is not their time for fun and games. We, the taxpayers, are paying them to do a service.

shel, if you're jealous then hypothetically if you're a hearing person, join the police force then see how much fun it is - NOT.
I'd hate to be in the Police force regardless of the ranks, lower you are, more in touch with everyday thugs, idiots drinking and driving but the higher you go up, the more you are in touch with serious criminals, and higher up further depending which way you go, more cut-off from reality in paperwork, or more in touch with some of the deadliest kingpins...
ok i admit too much bloody tv, but then again alot of fiction comes from a small grain of truth too...in so 'a way to reflect' in the chase of realism of 'life' but in a entertaining flavour, hell even documentarys aren't free from distortions....except the few...
just another slant to throw in the post :)

Jealous? What would I be jealous of?

The point is that they are on the job and getting paid to serve. I have a cousin who is an officer and he loves his job. Not all officers hate what they are doing but while on the job, is it wise to be playing video games?

I think everyone play a little game on the job. I've even seen people in the congress surfing on the internet on our taxmoney.

in fact some of you are checking Alldeaf while on the job.

btw, I have a wii, and I have to say is that the only game I've ever really enjoy was mario galaxy and paper mario (I completed those games too although, I really need to go back and finish off the toyland level in galaxy).
