So? If the Republicans ever catch up with me I might consider joining them. Otherwise, no thanks.
The time for a third national party may be at hand.

Independents vote for whomever they wish, including Democrats, Republicans, other independents, Libertarians, Green Party, whatever. They aren't limited to Dems and GOP.Independents vote for Democrats and Republicans alike. Being an "independent voter" does not mean you do not hold the values of either party.

Let's discuss it over a cup of tea.whoa. any idea who?

I'm an independent myself.

My views are conservative, which neither party satisfies. You may as well be a registered Republican. If your views are 95% Republican and 5% Democratic, I think it's safe to assume that you're going to vote for a Republican more often than a Democrat.

If that's what we're stuck with.More often than not, conservatives vote for Republicans.
you are correct.:topic:
It doesn't matter if it wasn't her decision, she didn't object to waterboarding, she is as guilty as Bush. She even claimed that she had learned by her aid in the year of 2003 that waterboarding was being used on Abu Zubaydah. I don't think she has a honest bones in her body.Yes, she know but torture method was not her decision but Bush Admin. She claimed that she know about waterboarding issues but she didn´t know full and felt that she was being mislead
I don't wish to discuss about the other thread, It's locked and there's a reason for it., that's a whole different ball game. This is about Nancy Pelosi.
*Gasp* You don't care if she knew and said nothing about it until now???!!I really don´t care either Pelosi knew or not as long as she didn´t authortize the torture and torture anyone.

Where did I exactly said she's guilty of it? I said she should resign because of various of reasons, not solely because of this issue.
Why should she resign if she isn't guilty?
1. making a serious baseless allegation
We don't know that it is baseless. Investigation is ongoing.
2. a lousy Speaker of the House
That is nothing more than your personal opinion, and fortunately, there hasn't been an administration yet that made decisions based on your personal opinion.3. a humongous hypocrite
4. if she's so outspoken about this Iraq/Torture issue now, then she should have done something during Bush Administration
Because she claimed that she was not provided with accurrate information regarding the fact that the interrogation techniques had already been used prior to a ruling on their legality. Again, investigation is continuing.5. She has power and enough people to bring down the law on Bush Administration but instead - she blocked the investigations
