maybe because the homeless guy was already screened by Secret Service and was permitted to pose there for P.R. purpose :dunno:

No doubt. All the personal belongings of the homeless must have been a nightmare for them, lol.

Every first lady finds a niche, causes that they want to support and bring attention to.
I do not know if Michelle donating her time is what she is passionate about or not but I really didn't see anyone on here saying anything negative about it.

Mrs. Bush was education and reading. She and her daughter wrote children's books.
Mrs. Clinton was health care
I forget what Mrs. Barbara Bush worked on
Mrs. Reagan was drug abuse awareness
The homeless may be Michelle Obama's passion.

I do not believe anyone is missing a big picture, so to speak, by wondering about Michelle Obama's safety and the security surrounding her visit.

I think she likes to help homeless people because of where Barack Obama was growin' up in South Africa where his father resided before. People in South Africa may impact his life and greater influence on Michelle Obama. It's probably why she is interested in her position. IMO ~

I would imagine Jiro, it would be her agents jobs if some nut or deranged person got through and hurt her.

The agents are very meticulous about protocol.

Yeah, That may be the case but remember, again, the media likes to make it look otherwise. That's part of their job to sell stories to garner reactions from us. That's just how it is, unfortunately.

As I recall, he attended a K thru HS on the Island of Oahu (Hawaii)..school called Punahou...I think it is a private school.

Yea, that's what I mean. I was confused by ASLGAL when she said he wasn't growin' up in Africa. I recalled readin' somewhere that he attended school in Africa. I am glad Reba provided a link to prove it right.
