I just found a place today and paid deposit and rent (my parents paid for it) and I'm moving in pretty soon. I'm waiting to hear from Joe to give me the keys tonight, I already looked at the place this morning. It is basically a roommate housing with a bunch of rooms, but I can live with that since it comes with rent and utilities included. My roommate is being evicted by Sunday because she doesn't pay the full rent. It's scary that there are crazy people out there.
 
Good luck with your move. Do you get a locked room of your own for safety of your possessions when at work?

Yes, I think so. If not, I'll just bring mine with me. I'm pretty sure it does, it's a drug free housing.
 
Wow that's great for you move new place soon.. and am not superise that ur roommate been kicik out by unpaid full rent *tsk tsk on her* and hope you will trust whoever of ur roommate again or not.. but pls be careful cuz last time whoever break in and steal everythings you have it so make sure LOCK on ur DOOR so can't get in ur own room as private as long they shuld respect it ;)
 
Hey Seq, glad you found a place. Just make sure, you do lock your doors at all times to be safe no theft. Good luck!
 
Thanks everyone. I always lock the door when I'm not in the room since I moved in...somehow they broke in and stole all my stuff back in end of Sept.

hi seq!! i live in boarding house with lots of roomates too. it very fun! i lock my door when i at work. are you going to have tv in your room? i just get tv from freecycle. i wish you lots of luck in your move and with your new roomates. i hope they very nice and you get to be friends.

By the way, be careful about those crazy people. I was used to have a roommate that I envicted, who was a drugs addict and didn't pay, also I have a lot of bad experience with him and some of the stories was scary...
