Oooh, Jason's back!.

Anyone watch old Friday the 13th movie from 1980?. Friday the 13th remake movie coming to theater on Feb 13, 2009.

Why do I have a bad feeling that it's gonna suck...?

Most movie remakes are disappointing.

The orginal is still an classic horror master piece...let alone never be remade.

As much as i love Rob Zombie as an entertainer whether its through his music or directing....he really butchered "halloween". I left the theater with a huge WTF look on my face like a midget slapped my mama or something, just atrrocious. Sadly thats been the norm though as it all started with the "Psycho" remake of the late 90's which was kind of shitty too. Its almost like hollywood has no more original ideas so lets make inferior remakes! :barf: I will admit one remake was pretty good though... the "Dawn of the dead" remake. Still not better than the original but damn funny and gory as hell. So i may or may not see this one. I dont have high hopes anyway.
 
No thank you! I am not going to watch this movie. I really hate number 13! It's bad luck for me! I had watch Friday the 13th. I don't like it. I am sorry! I am not fans of zombie as horrors! You said Feb 13? Ohh NO!!!!! It's my dad's death date! I don't want to hear! It's not FUNNY!

The only VERY good movie remake I thought was "Ocean's 11."

The rest of other movie remakes.........meh.

Whoa.. Just take easy about Friday the 13th since it's just movie. If you don't like it then its ok and you can't get upset over that because of your own reason since it's just a movie to us. So I'm sorry about your own dad, I could understnad how it feels but it's pretty much just movie...

And, it's not nice of you calling dead money an evil since my old friend DID insult my own best friend an evil for her birthday, October 31. God wouldn't like that if you call anybody an evil. Trust me. Just ingore Dead Money since he's immature for laugh at you.

Yes, I am calm. I just don't like number 13. It remind me of my dad and grandma died on 13th. I deleted my post for insult Dead Money. Thank you for helping me.

You're welcome. I could understand how you feel since I do not like to hear or see anything about my loves who died. I don't blame you for that but, just be careful with what you say to other people. :hug:
 
I have legitamite reasons for "laughing". This is a movie/tv forum and i dont think anyone cares about hearing the date of someones dead father like its supposed to be this unspoken abomination or something.....inside a MOVIE forum for crying out loud. I mean what did pinky expect opening this thread? Just come in here because the number 13 is so evil, we have to just shut the fuck up about takling about the Friday the 13'th remake? I'm sorry but i dont speak retard.

I completely agree with you on this one. The remake of the movie, Halloween was awful. Not only that, it completely changed everything about who Michael Myers was. I am a big fan of the original, I own it on both DVD and Blu-ray Disc.

They have to stop remaking all sorts of horror movies. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Prom Night, The Fog, Hellraiser, Friday the 13th. The list goes on and on. There are 2 remakes of the same movie, Terror Train in the making if you can believe that!

The movie, Dawn of the Dead, the original is a classic. The remake wasn't half bad, but not as good. Still, I was surprised at how good it was for a horror remake. But it's rare to get a decent remake.

I cannot agree with you more!

That is why I am so against the remakes of classic movies. Just leave them alone.

I am so pissed off that the classic movie The Day Earth Still Stood which is one of my all-time favorite movies is re-made. Even they are planning to make another Forbidden Planet movie but at this time it will be based on after events in the said movie.
