I found it out about Clone today. Me and Sunshinelady discussed about clone what is that mean. Her husband explained to me on VP. I never hear of Clone before. It's new to me. I am researching about Baby Test Tube. I don't support it. Because human cloned don't have an emotion like laugh, mad, crying, smile, feel and soul.
I rather be mother natural than clone.
I am curious is clone and stem cell are same or different?
I don't need get triple or sextuplet babies. I am not wish for my future baby's alike from clone. I prefer real baby natural from our alike.
What do you get if you cloned Jiro?
Damn, another domestic dissent!![]()
I guess it would be a matter of what the cloning was used for.
If it was used to clone organs, I would be fine with it.
If it was used to clone human beings, then that would be a sticky issue because you've made a copy of a real human being and anything could happen because it's alive.

I agree, it represents the unknown to me. I am afraid of the division it could mean for the world regarding these ethical and theological issues.
I guess atheists wouldn't care since they aren't that concerned with the theological issues.![]()

luckily... we will be spared of these headaches because it's not going to happen in our lifetime. we'll leave it to our kids or grandchildren to figure it out. meanwhile - enjoy what we've got for now.![]()
:-o nnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

No - cloned human is exactly same as natural human. they can have emotions. It's simply an exact copy of a person physically.
Technically.... stem cell and clone are the same but in principle - they are different. Stem Cell is to create a specific organ/tissue/nerve/etc. designed for a specific person by using their DNA. However - this procedure has a huge controversy because it is an abortion. In order to obtain a stem cell - you need to harvest it from embryonic cell..... which is basically - killing a "life" (a term for anti-abortionists) to save a life. This is a very very promising research - with sufficient funds and open minds... this research can cure many things relating to nerve damages - spinal cord injury, hearing damage, blind people, severe limbs, etc... even brain disease.
Cloning is simply a copy of a whole person. A most common process of doing this is the same as IVF aka Test Tube Baby.
It was a huge news last year or so. It's on front page of every news sources. I'm surprised you didn't hear about it.Ohh I see. I understand what do you mean. I have a question for you. How did you learn about Clone/stem cell? is that Baby Test Tube in scientist and doctor?
This is not related to cloning or stem cell at all. Not even close. What you speak of is called "genetic engineering." If the parents want to have some selective traits - you'll have to manipulate DNA for that. But having a triplets... well you can do that with IVF + fertility drugs but this is a very risky procedure that has no guarantee and this may result in birth complications - the mother/babies could die.If the mother want to have a blue eyes and blonde when she have a black hair and brown eyes? The father are same as his wife. And want to have a triplets babies?
don't we all? It's really strange to me. It's my opinion. I like to be natural real baby.
yes of course. it's not made of plastic, metal, or anything if that's what you're thinking. But when you say a "natural human being"..... that would be a traditional mode of procreation. Test Tube Baby is the IVF procedure. It is natural in a way but with medical assistance. The difference between IVF and cloning is - while the procedures are similar.... the outcome of baby's physical characteristics are different. IVF - a new baby based on combination of mom and dad (like natural baby). Cloning - an exact copy of a person. Are you sure that Baby Test Tube is a natural human? How come? How did you know?
IVF is obviously a very costly procedure. I imagine it's about $20,000 or more.Did you know the parents or lesbian married and want to have a Baby Test Tube and how much cost? Is Clone expensive?
Is that new? Is that legal in America? I heard in Japan, China are legal for clone. That what I heard from my friend on vp today. I never heard of it. I am research what it alike. It was a huge news last year or so. It's on front page of every news sources. I'm surprised you didn't hear about it.

Where did the parent get a DNA both of human in TT put in woman's womb to pregnancy?yes of course. it's not made of plastic, metal, or anything if that's what you're thinking. It's crazy. No thank. The doctor want the $$$$$IVF is obviously a very costly procedure. I imagine it's about $20,000 or more.
unfortunately..... it's banned in USA. It is legal in Korea and Singapore as well. The Korean scientist was the number one leading scientist in this field. Unfortunately..... he has been shamed as a fraud because he doctored up his result and performed the procedure unethically. What a sham.Is that new? Is that legal in America? I heard in Japan, China are legal for clone. That what I heard from my friend on vp today. I never heard of it. I am research what it alike.
it's banned for now. I'm hoping the next President will allow the stem cell research. Cloning human is banned but cloning animal is legal. Very few of us probably have ate it already. No thank. I don't want get risk. Which is Politics support clone right? I am wonder.
For IVF - you simply get the sperm from the father and then implant it into mother's egg in mother. However - if the father is infertile.... well you're screwed. You'll have to buy sperm from someone else - the sperm bank. Or you can get sperm from father's brother and then implant it into mother.Where did the parent get a DNA both of human in TT put in woman's womb to pregnancy?
it's complicated and mind-boggling for me to explain it in layman's term. It's something about.... infusing sperm and egg with electric prod...
I am more concerned with the logical issues.I agree, it represents the unknown to me. I am afraid of the division it could mean for the world regarding these ethical and theological issues.

The human brain is a very sensitive issue. When a person is cloned, does that mean their personality, behavior, thoughts, etc... are exactly the same? It's very likely that they aren't. In that case, who knows what the clone would be like.
What if a clone committed a crime? DNA couldn't be used in this case. Witnesses wouldn't be able to determine who really committed the crime. It's basically my word against my clone's.![]()

. oh btw - they're opposite of each other in terms of personality but share similar behavioral traits.
You are correct that stem cells used to have to come from embryonic cells. However, science has now found a way to take any cell in the human body and reverse it back to a stem cell. It is no longer necessary to use embryonic cells.
That's true. I have a friend who is twin. But It's fraternal twins both are different personality and brain memories. One of twin is hearing and have a asthma. And other second twin is hoh, born with birth defect and have a Borderline Personality Disorder.LOL. The only way to discern the difference between real and clone is fingerprint. Even twins do not have same fingerprints. But it's funny..... when you talk about clone committing crimes - how is that possible? The clone was not born at the same time as you. He'd be an infant... growing to be exactly like you a couple decades later... unless he is genetically enhanced to accelerate the growth but then - he will live a short life.
btw - yes it's most likely that the clone will inherit the "behavioral tendency" but personality... thoughts.... no they will not be the same. You should know better. Just look at the twins. they are basically a clone... in a natural way. They look the same, born from same egg, born at same time (well almost).... but their personality are either different or slightly similar but not always 100% similar. My gf is a twin but they both have a completely different personality. she writes with left hand while her twin sister writes with right hand. I've have some experience with the twins in my life. My childhood friends are the twins and in high school - I had an opportunity to be sandwiched by the twin girls aka "The Bombas Twins" at the dance party. oh btw - they're opposite of each other in terms of personality but share similar behavioral traits.

I am asking you. Do you know Stem Cell Research will be work for Retina disease, Parkinson Disease, Paralyzed and other. Someone told me the stem cell is coming from baby's cord with born and save the cord. Is that true?oh? that's good to hear! I was bit eery about harvesting it from embryonic cell - such a touchy one. Now the damn anti-abortionists can get off our backs and let government supports this research federally.
nature's a funny thing. most would expect 100% similarity but... I guess that's not the case anymore. That's true. I have a friend who is twin. But It's fraternal twins both are different personality and brain memories. One of twin is hearing and have a asthma. And other second twin is hoh, born with birth defect and have a Borderline Personality Disorder.
And other friends have a smart one and other second twin had ADHD. Is that coming from DNA or strong genetic family of twins?
YES ABSOLUTELY! WITH MY FULL SUPPORT!Do you believe in Stem Cell Research?I am asking you.
yes that is true. Umbilical Cord is rich in genetic material. You know science is always improving and advancing to the point where it'll become more humane and ethical. I truly believe stem cell is the Messiah to many nerve-related damages. This means deaf/blind/disabled/etc. people can be repaired (not cured).Do you know Stem Cell Research will be work for Retina disease, Parkinson Disease, Paralyzed and other.
