As opposed to who? Obama? Like thinking it's a great idea to spend and end up, so far, with a $1.4 trillion dollar deficit 9 months into his presidency? Come back to me and we'll talk exactly what intelligence and common sense mean.

he is the one who is trying to fix the hot mess bush has left over.. give it time. nobody can get us out of debt in 9 months.

what mess? It was Obama who created the $1.4 trillion dollar deficit in 9 months. Not Bush. It was Obama who passed the $787 billion dollar stimulus bill saying we must pass it quickly, quickly or else the unemployment rate will rise to 8%!! Guess what it went to 10.2% *with* the stimulus package. It is Obama who wants to pass his Obamacare that will cost taxpayers close to or around $1 trillion dollars yet see that Medicare waste and fraud cost taxpayers $50 billion dollars a year. It is Obama who wants to raise taxes on everybody. It is Obama who wants to force everybody to buy health insurance or else face jail time and hefty fines. It is Obama who continues to dither on his decision about Afghanistan ever since he stepped in and that troop morale is going down because Generals cannot get the troops they want to win. It was Obama decision to take over banks, limit CEO pay, and take over a couple of automobile companies when it was better to let them file for bankruptcy first and then do a reorganization and start a new contract all over again but he bailed them out twice already. Bush' fault?

Please.

cry more and move out of the country if you're so displeased.

I love this country. What we don't need are morons who believe in maxing out more of their credit cards thinking it is a solution to their debt problems. Thinking that raising the taxes on the middle and low income classes are the answer. Thinking that forcing people to buy insurance under the threat of jail time and fine is the best way to socialistic ideals. Which is why, first, *conservatives* are to take back the seats in 2010. Democrats are already visibly worried. We already saw the election win of two Republican governors a few weeks ago. That's a signal from disgruntled and unhappy Independent voters. And the NY23 District votes are still being counted and it getting closer that Hoffman may or may not make it because of the RINO Scozzafava debacle. But that's ok. The seat is good for only a year and Owens immediately broke his promises once he got in his Congress seat (not legal yet until final votes are tallied).

We don't move. People will know when the time comes to take back the seats in Congress. It is simply unsustainable to continue the massive borrowing. China WILL NOT lend any more money to the U.S. They loaned over $1 trillion dollars worth and is the largest lender after Japan.

We don't move. We don't complain and threaten to move to Canada or elsewhere. Liberals do that all the time.

Simply surreal to see people support Obama's current $1.4 trillion dollar deficit spend in 9 months time beating Bush' own 2008 deficit by 4 to 5 times as much.

lol, that's your wish thinking.

I disagree with many of your post.

You disagree that maxing out credit cards, which is what the administration is doing, a good way to solve a serious debt problem?

Man, what is this country coming to?

I have no position to agree or disagree with maxing out the credit card, however live on cash is much better than live on credit card because you don't have deal with high interest rate, I know some of my friend who has good credit history and their interest rate is screwed up, it had been happened before Obama came to office so it has little influence on government.

I do considering to get credit card to build the credit history so wouldn't not spend so much.

Predict for 2010 election could be tricky than you thought, what would happen to you if democrat win to regain in congress again or minor loss but still maintain majority in congress, everything could happen, not majority from Obama but it is all about congress's job to vote.

There's only agree with your post is about mandatory insurance coverage, I'm doubtfully that mandatory insurance coverage will help to reduce the insurance cost and it has no good influence.

Either you approve Obama massive deficit spending to the tune of $1.4 trillion dollars (which is 4 to 5 times bigger than Bush' spending in 2008) or you don't approve. One or the other. Sounds like you do approve Obama's spending problem?

I don't know about Obama spending has something with him, I rather to wait and see so I'm not in hurry to approve or disapprove his spending.

I approved Obama's job on GLBT since he signed hate crime bill, for others so couldn't think about right now.

Economy is bad so democrat has other idea to fix it, I'm not in hurry either because economy took more time to recover.

But certainly people were in a hurry to condemn Bush' $350 billion deficit spending in 2008 but we're talking about $1.4 trillion. That's the equivalent of raiding a bank several times over....the Treasury that is.

You're right, Democrats have no idea how to fix it. Which is why 2010 will hurt Democrats extremely so.

I don't say democrat has no idea to fix it, I said democrat has other way to fix the economy and it take longer time to fix it, also republicans could make much longer than democrat to fix the economy, that's my views.

None of budget will going be surpassed until you withdraw all troopers from Iraq and Afghan so spending deficit will going down so withdraw from Afghan is very hard and check Jiro's post about cost of Afghan war, it isn't cheap as you think.

I have wait until 2012 about approve or disapprove the Obama's spending, if economy don't get better by 2012 so I will disapprove Obama's spending and possibly lose the vote, however I'm not vote for republican who against on gay rights.

Sarah Palin Floats Glenn Beck as a Possible 2012 Running Mate
In an interview with Newsmax, Sarah Palin floated Fox News host Glenn Beck's name as her running mate for 2012. Palin said, "But Glenn Beck I have great respect for. He's a hoot. He gets his message across in such a clever way." Apparently, Palin's qualifications for a running mate include that they be a "hoot."

Palin chuckled when asked about the possibility of a Palin/Beck ticket and said, "I can envision a couple of different combinations, if ever I were to be in a position to really even seriously consider running for anything in the future, and I'm not there yet. But Glenn Beck I have great respect for. He's a hoot. He gets his message across in such a clever way. And he's so bold – I have to respect that. He calls it like he sees it, and he's very, very, very effective."

Are we to believe that Palin would seriously consider Beck as her running mate? She doesn’t want some credible conservative, or a policy expert. No, Sarah wants a running mate who is bold and a hoot. Is there anyone out there who can still be possibly wondering why most of the political world does not take Sarah Palin seriously?

Democrats would be doing somersaults at the very prospect of a Palin/Beck ticket. It would be a dream come true for them, while also nuking what remains of the Republican Party. I can see Palin blaming Beck when on Election Night the ticket gets 24% of the vote.

If Palin is looking for a running mate who is a hoot, maybe she should also consider Jeff Dunham. I sure his puppets would keep her in stitches for hours on the campaign trail.

FFFFFFFEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Sarah Palin is simply not politically savvy as she thinks she is.

Like I said, she's WAY much better as a housewife and being active in her community. And she would be just a great talker as a political commenter from a simpleton's perspective... like Glenn Beck and Maulkn - but no one wants them as our presidents.

I took a quick look at her book and it sounded like a Christian literature so nope, won't buy it.

And that's why she's never gonna be accepted by GOP:

But even a friendly interview can be treacherous. In a sit-down with Fox News' Sean Hannity Wednesday night, the former Alaska governor confused Iraq and Iran several times.

Asked about how to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons, Palin responded by suggesting we get tough with Iraq.

"We have allies who are as concerned about Ahmadinejad's actions as we are," she said. "Cutting off the imports into Iraq, of their refined petroleum products. They're reliant ... on those imports. We have some control over there. And some of the beneficial international monetary deals that Iraq benefits from, we can start implementing some sanctions there and start really shaking things up and telling Ahmadinejad, nobody is going to stand for this."

Now that's a sexist comment! :pissed: Why did you say that? You know she is intelligent. Do you feel threatened by a woman in politics?
