Though I am young (24) and was HOH since before I can remember, I lost the majority of my hearing in a relatively short period of time and have recently received a CI. I can certainly understand the sadness or fear associated with being late-deafened as I'm sure many others can as well...
I am right handed, but I bow hunt left handed because my left eye is better. It definitely causes some problems because my left arm gets fatigued fast (or it use to anyway, not so much anymore.)
I'm certainly somewhere if anywhere at all. I can't be everywhere, but if you looked everywhere and didn't find me would that make me nowhere? Nowhere is somewhere I might be.
Using an encyclopedia or a phone book. The internet has certainly made things more convenient but I remember the days when I actually had to search for my information.
