I want to respond...but I do not want to sound stupid. It has been discussed in other forums how beautiful of a language sign is. As a hearie - I am in awe when people sign. I don't understand all there is to being Ddeaf/HOH, but I am trying to learn. My response to a Ddeaf/HOH person...

I am not a big fan...but I had one with cucumber that was pretty good and another that had spicy COOKED shrimp...so I guess that really wasn't sushi... Don't eat it on purpose very much...very expensive and don't like the taste of seaweed PLUS Wookiees are more carnivorous - we need MEAT!!! :)

I have read about and watched videos about this...but...what is the argument in your eyes about CI? I realize it is incredibly invasive...but please elaborate...again...I am just looking for knowledge and your "ranting" is also helpful - that way I know what you are passionate about and care...

To all of you who have responded... This really does help...but makes me scared that I will screw up. I try hard to make sure I do not offend and that people like me...this can be a problem at times - because I am trying to make everyone my friend and cannot always make the stand I want to...
